I don't think they're stainless steel because they're ferrous (a magnet sticks to them). It appears that they are plated (mine have not rusted). ) I use them all the time because they are very convenient and spring open with just enough force to hold them closed, which is ideal for soldering.

I use these tweezers for jewelry making and find that they have a good grip, but I'm not sure about using a sewing machine with them.

On Amazon, I purchased a small watch repair kit so that I could replace the battery and remove the pins from my expensive ($15) waterproof watch. My wife suddenly discovers all of her watches and requests that I repair them as well. There wasn't much to think about because the shed isn't exactly cozy. br>br>After purchasing all of the batteries I'd require on Amazon, I was having a lot of trouble holding onto small items with my set of electronics grade tweezers, which were also bending at the tips. I found these after squeezing too hard. br>br>I did a quick search and found them. Given how inexpensive they were, I didn't expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well they performed. They clung to all of the small parts I needed and did not bend when I used them. br>br>They're reasonably priced and perform admirably. (No, I'm not employed by the seller, and I was not compensated in any way for writing this review. ) ) I will buy from this seller again without a doubt. br>br>These tweezers have exceeded my expectations.
Soldering is a breeze with this product. Tweezers with a cross lock are fantastic! This is my first pair, and I don't know how I ever got by without them. Let me explain if you're unfamiliar with them, as I am. Normally, tweezers are used to hold something in place. To release what the tweezers are holding in this case, pinch them! br>For me, this means I can use them for soldering because the tweezers are strong enough to hold my copper pendants while I torch them. My hands shake and are a little weak at times, and they get tired easily due to my illness, but these take away a lot of the strain, allowing me to spend more time creating. which is why I do it in the first place: )br>Overall, these are strong, comfortable, and sturdy, and they feel solid in my hands while working, making them an excellent soldering tool. I am happy with my purchase and plan to make more in the future.
These were delivered on time and appeared to be in good condition at first glance. However, after the first 30 minutes of use, I noticed a few issues. The tweezers appear to be tightly closed from handle to tip in the photos on the internet. Mine were open near the handle and only lightly touched near the tip, which was inconvenient for what I needed them for. My complaints haven't stopped yet. Not only were the tips not symmetrical, but they couldn't even hold a quarter between them without it falling out. I even approached them with a pair of pliers, thinking I could fix the problem by bending and twisting the cheap metal. I was dissatisfied with the quality and, understandably, was unable to return these after they had become mangled. They were eventually thrown away.
We use these tweezers in our 3d printing business, and we'll probably need another 5 pairs because we're always fighting over the one pair we have. In fact, I placed an order for the entire 7-piece set, and guess what? We don't even use the other set because this is the only one we use. I like how simple it is to use, the shape, the length, and the fact that you press it and it opens; it makes it much easier to grab items quickly and easily.
These are a complete and total waste of time. They will not close, making it impossible to use them for their intended purpose.
Tweezers that are locked These tweezers have a nice weight to them, and the amount of pressure they apply is just right in my opinion. In terms of design, it's clear from the photos that not much effort was put into giving them a finished, luxurious feel, but they're finished enough that you're unlikely to encounter any splinters or sharp edges.
I build a variety of things, from pinball machines to intricate LED 3d cubes (the largest of which is 32"x32"x32" so far, lol), so these tweezers will see a lot of action.
These tweezers have a good cross lock. Good length, good tension, good angle, and decent tips The handles, on the other hand, are made of a blocky wood. They're just a square piece of wood with no rounding or chamfering. It's not the end of the world, and they still work fine, but it would have been nice to have.
