Questions & Answers

What is the best way to clean up plywood edges?

I believe this solution will be suitable

When it comes to blade width, how big is it? Is 1 5/8" the most accurate measurement?

There is no need to rephrase. The blade width is 1 5/8" in diameter.

Why did the blade break after less than an hour of use? Is it normal to break the blade after less than an hour of use?

How well you use it is all up to you. By using a single blade, I can shape and till two bows simultaneously. This would take many hours of work spread out over several days. Thus, besides the two breaks that I have had, there has never been an incident with It might just be a matter of technique or a faulty blade that is inefficient, but the blades aren't expensive.

What are the possibilities of adjusting this?

Designed to hold a single blade in place using two screws, the Surform can hold a blade of any length. To change the blade, all you have to do is switch the one you have. I screwed a handle into the hole on the front end by drilling a hole in it, threading a handle off a drill, and threading the handle into the hole. You gain more support and power as a result. There may be a small amount of bending required on the front end. Keep an eye on it so it does not break. I appreciate it. I am John

My goal was to find something cheap, and this did the trick
4/5

The summer humidity made one of the doors in my house swell, and the porch of my house has sagged a little I needed to quickly remove some paint from the top of the door, and this tool did the trick. Although this is a stamped metal and cheap plastic tool, I bought it for one purpose, and it did the job perfectly. It is not part of my legacy to cherish this instrument and leave it behind The only thing I do is own a house, not work with wood.

This is garbage
3/5

There has been a lot of garbage associated with Stanley. This Stanley tool is one I should have returned since I have other Stanley tools that have failed. For example, a screwdriver where the blade spins inside the handle and a hack saw where the blade will not hold I the blade broke as soon as I took off in this plane, and when I tried to repair it myself, I broke it again as soon as I had drilled a hole in it to try to repair it. I don't think the hassle of returning is worth it. The best way to buy is to buy.

Ideal for shaping Bondo, foam, and all kinds of materials! Blades are easy to change, and you can easily change the direction of the The tool works great on mostly cured Bondo, forming foam insulation (the good extruded type, not the flaky "balls stuck together" variety) and with a sharp blade, you can even cut through fully cured Bondo
5/5

You can find the mini 21-inch on the mini 21 page With curved surfaces, the 115 will be 115, and the 21 will be 21 One is for medium sized items with a price of $399, and the other is for large items with a price of $21 A flattening and contouring charge of 295 is applicable for It would have been great if I had found these when I was building fender flares for my van a month ago!.

A lot of things it can do, but not a master tool
5/5

There are times when you just need to knock a little wood off to make a better fit without using the master tool. On the end grain, it doesn't perform as well as a rasp (partially because a rasp is better for that) but on the grain, it does exceptionally well, especially in tight places when a single blade planer can't be used. It is also easier to use for finer controlled removal than a chisel!.

You need to make repairs to your home
5/5

I'm an older woman who is currently repairing my own house during retirement. Bondo wood repair can be a great option for fixing your home up if you are replacing wood with bondo - this is a great price for the product. My only recommendation is to wear fingerless gloves to protect your fingers when buying through Amazon.

The planing tool made removing some of the sticking on an inside door much easier
5/5

We tried to plane a small portion off a stuck door with a mini-plane, but ended up getting one of these and knocking it down in no time. I am pleased with the price, quick delivery, good packaging, and the quality of the product. Thank you.

The handle made of plastic is not as strong as the metal handle
3/5

I find it to be very efficient. After the plastic handle broke off the first day, I had to make a more durable handle for it. It would be good if they tried again I think that it would be great if the handle was more durable. I don't see a problem other than that.

This substitute is comparable to a real aircraft
4/5

In place of using a regular plane, I used this for shaping down some rough wood. My first impression was that this was blunt, but after pushing harder on the handles, it began to cut clearly. This product was good, but with a bit of an effort involved in using it, it lost a star.
