Friend, I wish I could send you a photo. The bottom of my plane was flat and relatively smooth to the touch when I received it, but the sole had visible tooling marks and the finish was coarse. looking. Working the sole isn't absolutely necessary, but it's on my to-do list. Although the blade is adequate right out of the box, I prefer to keep it mirror-polished these days. sharpening with Japanese water stones – It's now a joy to fly the plane. I hope this article has been of assistance.

It's a beautiful aircraft. When I work with it, I like how heavy it is. I didn't need to sharpen the blade or flatten the plane's soul right out of the box. I had to flatten the bottom after a few months, of course. I needed to sharpen the blade after a few hours. But that's to be expected with a brand new plane.
Because the plane was poorly constructed, I gave it a one-star rating. The base and frog castings are out of tolerance, resulting in a severe skew in the plane blade. Because of the extreme skew, the adjusting lever can only partially correct it. Only by honing the blade out of square will you be able to solve this problem. (Not recommended) Another issue I discovered was that the frog's adjusting screw, which adjusts the frog forwards or backwards, was not set at the proper angle. This appears to be the case because the frog rests on top of the adjusting screw, causing it to (wobble?). ) on the screw's top. It's nearly impossible to adjust and align the frog properly because of this. I've requested a refund due to the issues I've had with this product. I wouldn't recommend this product to a friend; instead, I'd recommend it to someone I didn't like.
It works great with very little effort.
The money spent was not well spent. The quality is on par with something that should cost about a third of the price, right down to the cheap plastic handles.
The plane was in pieces and rattling around inside the package when it arrived. The plane needed to be reassembled, and the blade sharpened. What happened to quality assurance? br>It is not something I would suggest.
This is the work plane, and the leds are joining wood to make a table.
