Questions & Answers
To avoid stops, the blade only needs to be dropped by a fraction of a millimetre on each pass, the blade must be extremely sharp, and keeping the plane level takes a lot of practice.

Using other types of cutters would be impossible unless you are an experienced machinist. However, the set contains a variety of cutters that should be able to complete the tasks for which it was created.
Yes, I purchased one, but I found it difficult to adjust to (for me). I find the new chamfer a little awkward because I already have a tool that does almost the same job as the one I'm used to. If you've never used a chamfer plane before, this one might be a good place to start.

Poor fit and construction. The set screw that holds the blade in place and prevents it from moving while in use is a great idea. br>Unfortunately, the blade channel has so much play that the set screw pushes the blade to one side, causing the blade's radius to be off-center. br>It's pretty useless because it needs to be evened out with a sanding block. br>I'll probably try to reduce the slop by shimming the blades.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. Straight out of the box, the blades were razor-sharp. The packaging, on the other hand, was of poor quality. When I lifted the box and felt the contents shift, I realized that the plastic mold tray that was supposed to hold the blades in place while in the box was ineffective. All of the blades fell out the moment I opened the box. It irritated me a little.
At the price, I like the concept, but the paint from the tool's body came off on the wood, necessitating more sanding. I started with a high setting and gradually reduced it with each pass, but the white pine I was working with became entangled. If you've ever worked with white pine, you know how soft it is. Overall, I expected it to eliminate the need for me to use my router for simple tasks, but that did not happen. I hate to be the one to write a negative review, but this product did not work for me.
Tool. Manual tools appeal to me. That is why I purchased this tool for both my son and myself. The tool should come with instructions on how to prepare the wood and the cutter's depth limitations. Also, in one key area, the tool depicted on the box does not accurately depict the packaged product. The tool's base, which rides along the board face and edge, is at least an inch and a half wide on the box; however, there is no base on the packaged tool I received, nor is one included with the tool and cutters. I'll figure out the most effective way to use this tool, but for now, I'll use it 'out-of-the-box. ' I'm not interested in a 'box'. I thought it was a great idea, but I didn't get what I was hoping for.
This item was ideal for smoothing out the rough edges on our newly built deck. It's small, so it's easy to move around.
It does exactly what it claims. It is simple to use and performs well. Finish with a professional touch.
There are no instructions or an Allen wrench included, making the tool difficult to adjust. It appears to be well-made, but there are other traditional tools that can do the job just as well. It might be a good choice if you're just getting started with woodworking.
It won't cut the edges; instead, it will rip up the corner.
