Questions & Answers
I returned mine because it was a useless tool in my opinion. Don't waste your time and money on this product; it won't hold an edge and you'll spend more time adjusting it than actually using it. Will it ever get the job done?
It's not very big, in fact, it's quite small, and it's a size 4. 3 x 1. 6 inches.

Update: You get a card in the mail that says if you write a review, they'll send you a gift card. When I emailed them, they said the gift card would only be sent if I changed my review to five stars. This item does not receive a five-star rating. The reviews on this site should be taken with a grain of salt. It's a success. br>br> However, because it is made of thin metal, it is difficult to align properly. However, it is inexpensive and effective.
They reward you with money in exchange for a favorable review. The product is bad in and of itself. This tool's design is flawed in some way. It does not function as it should. What should we expect from a product made in China? Garbage, to be sure.
Is wood going to be planed? Yes. Do you think the price is reasonable? Yes. However, the plane's disadvantages vastly outnumber any advantages. br>It's virtually impossible to adjust the depth with any degree of precision. A depth adjustment can be found on any reputable plane. There are none in this. br>Getting the blade square is a matter of trial and error. There's no way to know for sure if the blade is square. Every piece of wood I've tried to plane with it has come out with gouges. They aren't extreme gouges, but they are gouges nonetheless that must be repaired afterward. br>The price is reasonable, but that means nothing if the tool fails to perform as intended.
It's simple to set up. A woodworker's honest opinion. I have a lot of bench planers, but I wanted a micro/stubby for finishing small projects. This device is extremely easy to set up and produces smooth ribbons right away. I created a video that demonstrates first-time results straight out of the box. It was easy to give this a five-star rating because it performs admirably for the price.
I went over something twice before it completely fell apart, and the book that came with it isn't for the item, so it's completely useless. I attempted to reassemble the box using the picture on the box as a guide. The whole thing didn't appear to fit together the way it was supposed to. Even after correctly assembling the pieces, they appeared to be the incorrect size.
I suppose the fact that this item didn't work as it should is a reflection of the price. It simply did not work. The blade refused to adjust and failed to perform as a hand planer should. Spend a little more to get a higher quality product.
For woodworking projects, this is ideal. It's a small device that's simple to handle.
This product is extremely disappointing; it is either of poor quality or is not brand new at all, or both. BTW, the photos are as they were when they were first opened.
