Years ago, I bought one with the handle and used it until it broke. You used to be able to order an entire box of replacement blades from Stanley, but that is no longer the case. Lowe's and Home Depot also don't sell just the blades. To be honest, with the handle that these blades were designed for, it is the best scraper! It is ergonomically designed to fit in your hand and provides leverage when scraping. I've probably used 40 or more times. These blades come in a pack of 50. Using this scraper, I was able to remove nearly all of the paint from the exterior of my cedar shake clad house. It's ideal for smoothing out the ragged edges of a too-sharpened edge. There are many other uses for a tight wood door. I still prefer one to any other type of scraper, and I've tried them all. Even the ones that cost a lot more aren't as good as this one. They are not as comfortable to use or as effective as this small scraper. Plus, there's no need to plug it in or charge the battery! I have a lot of tools, but this is one of my favorites and the one I use the most.
This unassuming tool is essential for working with epoxy/fiberglass composites. br>The curved blade has over 100 cutters and can shave through hardened epoxy and glass laminate. Removes ridges, cuts through fiberglass, and smooths the surface for the next layer of cloth, and is best used when the work is new. No other hand tool comes close to its performance. br> Surforms with flat blades are commonly found in hardware stores, but this one isn't. Body shops use it to quickly shape bondo and thickened epoxy, so it's possible that auto supply has it. This six-blade variety is individually wrapped and claims to be made in England - For me, this is an excellent pedigree. This is a carving tool; unlike a power tool, it does not produce dust or glass particles.
They do, however, have the advantage of cutting all the way to the edge on one side, whereas my old blade couldn't get into a tight corner.
This is a fantastic solution. They're a great way to get rid of excess wood. They leave a rough finish that, depending on your needs, can be easily smoothed with sandpaper. If they sold replacement shavers without the handle, I'd buy just that. The handles appear to have an inexhaustible life span.
Make sure your knuckles are in good shape. These things are a tad bit nastier than they appear. It looks great on the wall and lasts for a long time.
And, of course, they degrade over time. You'll feel the same way, especially if yours is drab. Sharp tools save a lot of time, and they do the job.

Depending on the package, these can be fantastic or disappointing. I continue to purchase them in the hopes of obtaining the best. It's a fantastic tool for removing material quickly once the teeth are properly set. They only just cut some of the time. I'm guessing it's something to do with the way your teeth are arranged. I'll keep buying six in the hopes of finding the two that I can't live without.
