A nylon head is an excellent tool for pounding in bar end plugs without damaging the bars or the plugs. It might have been simpler to use a block of wood or a book, but then I would have needed an extra set of hands to hold everything steady while I pounded in the plugs. This is one of those tools you don't really miss until you no longer.
solid piece of gear from Park Tool. Strong, and just the right amount of heft for bottom bracket knocking. My initial reaction was that the nylon end (I think it's nylon) would be too hard to use without damaging the finish, but after I bravely tried it on my (old) Gossamer hollowtech crank set, I discovered that it preserves the finish quite Because it is hard, I'm sure it will last a long time, and it seems to be replaceable too. It is also comfortable and secure to hold due to the rubberized grip.
The product is manufactured in China. This is such a sad story. I now look at every bicycle as if it were a nail whenever I use this lovely hammer.
In particular, the Chronic in question is a great tool for dealing with bicycles, particularly removing headsets and bearings. It is comfortable to use as well.
There are two ends to it, one soft and one hard. The only moving part (it) is the motor so what could possibly.
It is the perfect weight, although it tends towards being heavy. It's also nice to have a nice balance. This Park hammer offers a good price, so if you need a hammer for bicycle use (or just all-around use, really) you don't need to think twice. Don't forget to purchase.
It is very expensive to buy Park Tools, even though they are good.
Another good product from Park Tool. This is not a very expensive item. This is a great tool for pounding in star nuts.
