The hammer is really nice. Those hammers made specifically for precision drilling are ridiculously priced, as are the hammers for all of that work. As for the face, I polished it up and it looks In my failure to quit when I was winning, I also tried drilling and tapping the tail end like a true PDR hammer, but it did not work out so well. It uses a very hard metal, like one would imagine a hammer to be, but even with carbide bits on my press I could not achieve anything, so that says a lot about the quality of American steel that was used to make it.
I have never seen a hammer like this. The weight of the head is just right for it to swing away and the surface of the head is pleasant to hold. The fact that I use it 90% of the time, in the metal industry, says a lot about the quality of the software. It is an exceptionally comfortable head with a heavy weight in the top. Precision accuracy is the key to swinging like a mad man.
I really like this one as it's light and does the job. I don't have a problem swinging it I prefer the hammer when I am fabricating duct work in a shop to a regular tinner hammer. It is certainly not a hammer to use in the field on a construction site.
High quality and extremely well made. I have the same problem as mustie1!.
The total weight is 7 ounces. It is a high quality I like how it swings, the feel of it, and that the fiber glass handle does not add weight to the overall draw.
A very nice hammer, I love it. It is a handy little hammer that I have always needed. This is my first one, and I wonder why I waited so long to purchase it. The delivery was quick, thank you.
But it's only a hammer, so it can be used very comfortably.
I've been a tin knocker for 25 years and I find that this product really saves wrists with You would be doing yourself and your wrists a favor if you bought one now!.
