Having this hammer in my arsenal has become my go-to tool. After I gave up on my Vaughn 23 oz California Framer it turned into a waffle face. There are too many times when it is necessary to use a smooth face hammer, unless you are doing production framing, where you are only going to bang two times all day. When you're working on piece of work, sometimes you just want it to be smooth so it doesn't leave a waffle mark. To be quite honest, I have not noticed any difference between driving 8 penny nails into dimensional lumber or 16 penny nails since switching. Basically, I now just keep this hammer in my tool belt, so I no longer need to go rummaging through my tool belt for another hammer when I have to nail on some siding or trim.
I find a hammer with 20 oz to be a sweet spot of power without leaving your arm sore at the end. With this hammer you will be able to start nails with one hand free when you are up on a ladder. As an added bonus, it doesn't leave any marks on your.
My first impression is that the hammer is very well made. The construction is solid steel. It is well suited to my hand. The surface of the handle is large. So now I will hammer around old projects I have around the house.
I'm 62 now, and swinging a hammer is no longer as easy as it once was, so I now appreciate a The hammer is fantastic and will keep on working until I die.
Despite the fact that it's a little heavy, this hammer is very versatile, removing many stubborn old nails and taking a beating. I wish it were a little heavier over all but I still find it's useful.
It's pretty obvious what it's about from the title. I also like the fact that it's a decently sized hammer that works well.
It's great to have a hammer like that. My favorite part of the nail starter is the magnetic You have a good It is the right The hammer is the best you can find.
It would be nice if the handle was thicker for people with.
