They look nice, but the handles are not strong enough to hold the files. As soon as I take them out of the case, I feel like I'm going to break them.
I am not crazy about the case. It was half the reason I bought those, and I have been disappointed in it. Because of the hard case's stiffness and the placement of the loops inside, it is difficult to get the files in and out without poking the back of the case or bending them. My second set had red handled handles instead of hard plastic - here's what I tried Those are the ones you should get instead of these.
You won't lose any money if you don't waste it I used the 6 Piece Diamond File Set on flutes I made out of cedar, which is a very soft wood, but the file set wore out so fast I had to buy more. My diamond files appear to be a mix of diamond dust and plastic. I would return them, but I abandoned the case they came in. The other 6 files are mediocre at best and I do not recommend them. You can get better files for $6 at Harbor Freight. There are . 99 on the website that don't include the diamond files. Those files may snap before wearing out after many heavy applications, but even so, there are two halves that will be useful for many applications.
