The quality isn't up to par with previous years

I was disappointed to receive files that were not even flat at this price point. The level of quality has plummeted. I started sharpening an old Snow and Nealley axe head from the 1950s with these and then tossed them out. The files I got were created in Brazil. They are not something I would recommend.

I'm not sure why these have become so expensive; these are good files, but you could get a good set of four nicholson files for $25 at the store

I'm not sure why the cost has risen so dramatically. They're still good, but they're not as good as they used to be. As they become more expensive, they will begin to compete with much higher-quality files, and I believe their reputation will suffer. However, if you ever come across any truly vintage Nicholsons, make sure to grab them.

I'm new to Crescent Nicholson products, but they haven't disappointed me yet. The teeth are razor-sharp, removing metal quickly but precisely, and the ergonomic handles allow you to work for long periods of time without becoming fatigued. Working with two hands is also quite comfortable for more heavy-duty files due to the length of the files (even the shorter ones). work that is required. Overall, it's a must-have for fine metalworkers. working and interacting with ups.
