It's almost impossible to find flush cutters for steel that are of high quality. If you are cutting hard, you should bevel both sides of the cutting edge. The asian-made flush cutters you may find may be rated for steel, but they are NOT as good at what they claim.

While I don't know what a sprue is, I do know that these pliers are meant to cut It will nick blades if you hit them with anything harder. There are a lot of delicate parts on these pliers. Cut wire with a diameter larger than 10 AWG, or about 1/8 inch, and I would hesitate. In cases of larger diameters, the rivet may be loosen and the tools may become damaged. It works well to trim plastics, and I also use it to trim the dog's nails it's a very good pair of As the jaws cut flush, the blades are more delicate than those of a typical diagonal plier. My new headphones are very good quality and perform better than any other brand I have ever

The knipex ones are a great choice and they stay true to the quality we are all familiar with There are cheaper mini flush cutters that do just as good a job and my Crescent ones have lasted me for over eight years, but are you willing to pay such a high price for a brand? They're almost double the price of other mini flush cutters. While the flush cuts are pretty much similar to those you will find everywhere else, the channel locks or side cutters clearly stand out since they are far superior to those of The vise grip flush cuts made by my coworker are much better than these. In spite of that, if you're a big Knipex fan and most of your tools are Knipex, you won't be disappointed.
At least six days per week, I use them for at least 12 hours each day. Laptops, drones, automation controls, etc. This is not the shearing cutter I am used to using on sensitive A snip cutter is what it is called. It is common for snip type cutters to shoot cutting patterns when they are in use There is a loud snip sound that can be heard when the component package is off lead. This has to do with the energy from There are snips that do not make that noise while cutting component leads and do not send lead cut-out signals while cutting components Across the room, there were offs flying. There must be a reason for this, since 1) better steel is 3) Alignment of cutting edges according to mating / geometry. An anvil and a blade are what most snips are made of. (This is what you see under the microscope. Blade edges do not line up edge to edge on their blades). Perfect alignment has been achieved in these snippets. After abuse, the edge of the blade PRESERVES its sharpness. There is nothing better than this.
Despite the fact that the shaft is ground nicely and fits in my hand well, there is a bit more tension in the spring than in the other brands I recently tried, but it does not feel uncomfortable at all. I purchased it last winter, and it is still in good working order. As far as cost is concerned, these are top of the line. Hopefully they will last a long time. In the case of a purchase, it must be justified.
There are some super sharp jaws on these little guys, and mine is perfectly aligned, so I know they're going to last. I like the way they feel in my hand and they do exactly what I would expect, which is that they cut flush with the top surface of the jaw. In all these years I have been cutting zip ties with side cutters, and due to their bevel, there is always 1/16" or 1/8" showing from where the tie has been cut. If you or anyone else steps on it, it will cut or scratch them. You could be annoying or at least irritating. There's no need to worry! It would also be useful for control wire work and soldering jobs on small components, even though I don't do a lot of small electronics work. I paid $25 for a product that seems expensive but I got what I paid The Knipex cutting tools I have never had a problem with. As long as you don't abuse them, they should last a lifetime. I have never bought anything Knipex that didn't live up to my expectations. Honestly, I was skeptical about the haircut, like "flush cut, okay, it will be close. ". It's not going to work. Zip ties have a smooth, non-sharp end, you can rub a finger over it all day long and it won't cut your finger, nor would you even be able to detect the razor sharp end. When they are used compared to side cutters, it is like day and night.
Due to the poor design and layout of the bend metal, the clipper is quite fragile, since force prys the rivets apart. This will allow the blade edges to slide past each other, rendering the clipper useless for cutting edges. robustly built it looked, it can only be used for small electronic work and it can certainly not be used to clean 3D printers.
For zip ties I need flush cuts since I am an electrician. These flush cuts have the cleanest action and a solid design with no signs of weakness. I've bought several types of flush cuts to cut zip ties, and these are the most reliable and best performing. There is a lot of metal in the room and it seems I will buy again when the need arises.
My order for them was made while half asleep, so I misread their description on Knipex's website. They were supposed to be used as guitar string cutters, but the strings prove to be too hard for them, causing the cutting edges to split. While the damaged section still cuts through copper wire like butter and leaves clean edges, the undamaged section does not. These grips make it easy to use one handed and they have spring action, so they won't fall over. The small size and angled head of the machine made me think they would make amazing guitar string cutters to fit easily in close to machine heads without contact with other gear. There was no way to make it work.
Since the past few years, I have become a big fan of the knipex brand. I buy knipex every time I need a new tool. The cheap tools that I used to buy were always being replaced in a few years, as they were craftsman and other store bought brands. The workmanship and quality of Knipex are excellent. This pair of snips fit the bill for what I needed. Clearly an excellent product, I have snipped over 1,000 wires with it and it still cuts.
