Fish hooks would be able to be cut with it. I am not sure if the blades will be damaged but I am not sure. Copper and soft metals such as steel are cut with these tools.
There is no marking on the tool and I can't remember if it was packaged. But, based on the tool, I would say they're probably a bit off It is "shore".
I agree that an ideal cutting material would be one with fine cuts and sharp tips. The photos are really sharp, by the way. It may be cheap, but it is great for what it does.
I will answer "no" based on the assumption that you do not own a plastic bottle The "flush" cutters are designed for electronic work where wires are typically smaller than #20 gauge wire, and are typically used for coated flower stems. Coated flower stems are constructed from steel greater than #18 gauge

The deception used in their sale is my major issue. The "made in USA" label can be clearly seen if you zoom up the images. I looked at the box of the pliers and it said "made in China. " but one arm said "made in USA. ". In the color of the rubber handle, it appears that the word "USA" is under it. There is nothing there when I take the handle off, so I believe that this is outright fraud.
For the price, they perform well. I understand, but there is a BUT Like old, forgotten tears of poor Asian children, the handles stink, continue to stink like rotten tears.
Although they work well, they have an odor in the handles. Five of these are in my shopping cart. According to the photo, the ones I received were labeled "PLATO" and otherwise very similar in appearance. In summary, all five turned out to be very sharp flush cutters, at least as sharp as the more expensive H***o brand "CHP 170. ". I have tested several of them and found that all of them perform quite well functionally, with well-aligned cutting edges. It is the only minor complaint I have about the product (that has nothing to do with functionality) that the blue plastic covers emit a strong odor. In an attempt to neutralize the smell, I soaked the handles of one of them overnight in bleach but My next attempt at eliminating the odor involved soaking in household ammonia overnight. This too unsuccessfully removed It made no difference if I used alcohol or hydrogen peroxide to clean. No matter what type of plastic was used, it remained completely unaffected after the chemical alterations, and the surface still appeared to be There was still a strong odor in it.
You shouldn't buy them at all! They are totally unsafe! They're breakable. I used them to cut the edges off 3d printed items, and they're broken so Metal is cheap, so they have to use it. Those Cutters have lasted me for 2 years no issues, just becoming dull and the spring is finally wearing out. I purchased similar, but more expensive Cutters off Amazon, they run $10/pr and those have lasted me for 2 years no issues. This 5-day supply was on sale, so I picked it up The extras were bought back in January so as to get them at a good price. They are dangerous, that's what I got, but I'm still getting them. As I did with all my other cutters, I was cutting with the same tool when the blade broke and shattered all over It is possible for someone to be seriously injured if it goes in the wrong direction. Two of the cutters are attached, as are photos of them. As of now, 3 out of the 5 packs have broken. Typically, they last for two years They break randomly for 3 weeks before they break. Sadly, I'd like to return these items as they were a waste of money. My son, who is 18 years old, and I were thankfully not injured.
This means no flush cut will ever be produced by any of them. By buying them in the first place, you defeat their purpose. When I cheaped out, I should have anticipated this, but whatever.
KAHIOE flush cutters get the job done there's no question about it. I must admit that flush cutters are an important tool for the work I do, but I don't use them It's usually to cut electrical wires or zip ties when I use them. In jobs like this, you can use one pair of these for many years if you take good care of them. It happens, however, that the right tool isn't always available, but these will fit. Even though they aren't designed to cut steel wire, I've managed to get them to do it once or twice. The jaws were indented a little after that, but for the price, you get your money's worth after a while. You could easily last a few years with just a set of 5 of these cutters if you're a mechanic like me. A pair of these might everything you'll ever need if you work with electronics or electronic components (LEDs, resistors, transistors, etc). It would be possible to spend more money on flush cutters, but these are an awesome deal at their price!.
Copper wire gauges over 16AWG are not suitable for cutting with these cutters. The edge of the blade is sharp, making them ideal for trimming the ends of wires and component leads of small gauges. Ingrown toenails can also be treated with this product.
Thus far, 3 cutters out of 5 have broken on me. Towards the middle of the year, I bought 5 packs of 5 It is March, and the middle of the month This is the month of May as I type. This is the only tool I use at work for cutting plastic zip ties. The zipties are the only thing other than these. It had to be cheap, small, light, and I didn't have to worry about them getting lost. The weight and size of the product are ideal, as well as the price. In my opinion, I am not being unreasonable when I say that metal jaws should not break off when cutting plastic. If I were to use these to cut metal, like, for example, actual wires, I wouldn't be able to do it for very long. I am using a picture from a recent product failure as an example. It was basically the same problem with the previous two failures.
On the whole, not much to say. You get what you pay for with this set of five pliers, 13 bucks. I also noticed that the points on the pliers came out of the box extremely sharp. It is a good idea to round cleanly the ends of these files and sanders, otherwise you run a very real risk of accidentally stabbing yourself with them. This is exactly what I did as you can see from my photo.
