Those are made in China, not in the United States
If your measurements are near the size of this tool, and in the same format, I am not sure how close they are to the measurements you give.
My personal preference would not be to do so, but I would purchase a crimping tool specifically designed for the

We recently moved into a new warehouse and I had to stock it with tools as we were setting up a shop there. A similar model I have at home was purchased some 20 years ago, so I thought this would be compatible. The products made in China are known to anger a lot of people. From the 1960s until the early 1970s, things made in Japan were despised by everyone. Compared the new pair to the 20 year old ones, apart from an occasional scratch or minor wear mark, they are nearly identical in terms of weight, look, and feel. Also when reasonable testing is done, the gripping force seems to be the same. As far as I am concerned, there is a bias against it being made in China, and I won't go into that, except to say that we Americans continually demand more for our money, and expect to pay less for it. In what order do you place your priorities? As it turns out, in this case you.
S. Despite the price being low, it is a good deal. Like a cheap Chinese tool, it looks and functions as if it's made of plastic. The reason is because Each revolution of the tension screw results in the screw getting stuck. An alignment problem exists between the jaws. Despite its crudeness, the casting does not look good. There are rough edges to this finish. A stamp even carries the name of the product. A uglier brand could be used for this company. They will be the last new vice grips I purchase. It is sad to observe that used tools are truly worth more than brand new ones.
I will use them because I need them, but I don't expect that they will last as long as the last set I purchased. My understanding is that things like this may need to be made from China, but I am confused as to why the manufacturer would not put a greater emphasis on the quality of products they are having produced. Having a brand name associated with the design of a tool makes you ubiquitous because people know you by that name.
There are far fewer of these than I've had in the past. In addition, I found that no matter how hard I clamped them, they were not tight enough to remove a screw. It was difficult to hold on tight enough to the vice grips, and they didn't allow you to twist out the bolt. This was a very disappointing outcome. They do not seem to be up to the task for any serious consumer use.
When I was a kid (really long time ago), my father introduced me to one of these when I was 64 years old. The trick to remembering his tool is to keep looking for it three times before losing Now I have to go to Amazon to get myself one more that I needed for two jobs - On my mountain bike the caliper mounting bolt was frozen and had a stripped head, so I turned a threaded pipe I couldn't move. Despite the tightness of the pipe, the wrench did not slip on it and I was able to remove it using my leverage. As I tried to remove the frozen and stripped caliper bolt on my bicycle, it stripped and split. After removing the bolt and replacing the caliper, I was able to fix the problem. I save $150 by not hiring a plumber and $125 by not visiting a The 12 dollar investment was the most money I have spent in a long time. I was surprised at the quality, I did not expect it to be on par with the original. I was impressed by the value and how quickly I received it.
A Vise Grip that's #1 in the industry Using one of the ten-inch TVs Even though some people may declare an 8-inch phone as the king, this device fits the hand better, with better gripping. In terms of build quality, I love it. From Irwin, I can expect nothing but the best. They make the best hand tools on the planet. This type of stuff, such as vise grips and chisels, is often of excellent quality. DUCT TAPE (guerrilla tape) to complete the tool kit of a poor man Grips with a vise WD40 is another good thing to have around.
A vice grip is one of those things that nobody wants to use, but when one is needed, there isn't a lot that can replace it! It looks like a nice tool that you can have shipped right to your door at a reasonable price! I don't know if it's as sturdy as the ancient vice grips our fathers had in their toolboxes, but it seems reasonably.
These pliers were purchased to remove a nut from a lawn tractor, but no matter how tight I clamped them shut, I was still able to turn the nut with There was nothing but the grip on the pliers that gave. Since my dad had several Irwin vice grips, we used them on our farm up until I was a senior citizen. These pliers he had for years do not work as well as they once did because products are not made as well nowadays.
