I like it
It depends to a certain extent on what you are cutting and how much you want to manipulate it while you are cutting.
The handle is made of plastic. This is a very sturdy construction. Steel is the material that makes up the cutting blade. The best tool I've ever seen.
In fact, yes. The replacement blade for 911153 is 91154. Please read this carefully. *br> *br> ZZ

Anyway, I guess I can deal with it. The gates tubing has been a staple for me for many years, so I figured I would pick this up It looks like a clean cut, but it doesn't completely separate from the slot because the blade does not extend far enough. As well, I'm disappointed that the entire body is plastic (I know that the description says so). I'm also not a fan of the fact that there are no replacements for the blade. It will be returned, as there is a similar set of metal tube cutters with replaceable blades available at the orange brick and mortar store.
That's why it's so hard to do well, and so The simple tool I've provided here makes it SAFE and EASY for you! Despite its lack of perceived sharpness, it cut thru a 35 dollar fuel hose like butter one minute and was gone the next! However, the tool is impossible to spring open, so it may be easier to use than expected. In other words, you need two hands to open it, then two hands to cut it. Although it is not a major issue, if it had spring-loaded openings, I would have paid twice as much for it. I hope the maker reads this review and makes a new model that includes springs.
In addition to that, it has. This product is made in the United States, light, and inexpensive. A replaceable blade is included with this tool, although it is not inexpensive, so I am not sure how well I would do finding It is not necessary to snip through the hose to use this tool properly. The handle has to be rotated while pinching, otherwise the hose will slice. If you use a utility knife to cut hose, consider how it would be used If you would hold the hose against a knife with your thumb, you would rotate the hose against it. You would use the tool in the same manner, holding the handle carefully and rotating the hose. You can see how much safer this is than using a utility knife. I would prefer a spring-loaded hose cutter, but I won't replace this one until it breaks.
During my testing, I found it to do a great job at cutting and trimming, both of which are difficult tasks for most power tools. While we don't know how long the glasses will last, they appear to be well made and make up for their sharp edges They will work for a long time, so I am confident they will keep doing so.
A Gate 91153 was used to cut 5/8 ID heater hose and it worked really well. There was no fraying The only thing broken about this is the cut is not perfectly parallel Possibly I am who you are talking about. In my opinion, this is the best tool for DIYers at the price.
It cuts great. Make sure the handle is rotating while using this. Although I was initially sceptical about using a plastic handle, I assure you it will last a lifetime if it is treated with great care. Rubber hoses were the only thing it was used on.
Buying this tool will make slicing hoses easier than ever! I've been cutting my hoses with knives and scissors for decades, and this tool will change everything! I've used it for so many different kinds of hoses, and it works astoundingly well!.
I used this cutting tool to cut EK ZMT 10/16mm tubing for a custom liquid cooling build, and it worked like a charm! There was only one time when it didn't work well when I was cutting a little bit of tubing off (less than an inch) I would get a non-straight edge Overall, a good result. The only thing that would have made it better would have been to have some sort of mechanism to hold the jaws shut, but it isn't a big deal since they don't flop freely.
