That's precisely what I did with it. I'm guessing it'll be fine if you're not drilling thick metal; I've used them on thin metal (1/8" or thinner) and plexiglass/wood and they've worked fine. If you're not drilling wood, just make sure it's tight enough and go slowly.
To get the T nuts to work, I had to shave a small amount off both sides. It took me about five minutes to fix them, though. Right now, everything is working perfectly.

Thought the same branded clamps would work with like branded parts, but turns out they use different sizes between machines. Doesn't fit the Gemnitsu proverxl 4030 t slot beds that came with the machine.
I intend to use it with a drillpress, despite the fact that it was designed for CNC use. The majority of the construction is made of metal. Easy to move the center hinge. It appears to be in good working order; it has a low profile and the arm length should be long enough to secure material while keeping the knob out of the mill's path.
We bought two because we weren't sure if they'd be able to hold enough material. They do. We went out and purchased another two. The only blunder we made was not purchasing four at the start. Clamping is quick and simple with them. in order to have a more pleasant routing experience. br>br>Some of the negative reviews for this product are based on the fact that the clamps do not fit the machines they claim to fit. It's not even the fault of the product.
made. These were exactly what I needed for my 3018 CNC router, and they didn't disappoint. They fit perfectly in the T slots and can be used to clamp items of various sizes and thicknesses. If you can afford it, this is a fantastic addition.
These clamps are far superior to the ones that came with the CNC machine, as they are well-made and much easier to operate. They have a good grip and are simple to release. I'm going to get a new pair of shoes soon.
I like how easy these fasteners are to use, but I wish they were less expensive; they fit well in the plate grooves for a better hold.
The material used in this product is excellent. br>However, while a firm subject with a small amount of space is preferable, this product is designed for small machines.
Holds items in place safely. These clamps have been expertly machined to ensure a secure grip on the product you're working on. They are, in my opinion, a good value for the money.
