ProForm 66985 Hold Down Clamp

When I first purchased it, I was unsure if I would enjoy it. For quite some time, I've been searching for a good hold down. Anyway, the first thing I noticed when I opened the package was how good it was. It was expertly machined. I like it even more now that it's up and running. To hold the distributor for a test fit, I didn't need to torque it all the way down. In every way, this thing surpassed my expectations. I would recommend it to my friends and family, and I intend to purchase another copy.

For small-scale distributors, the best clamp to use is the distributor hold down clamp. I've never had a block Chevrolet with such a nice finish, excellent quality, and a price that is just right. On my 11 and a half to one compression 383 stroker, it keeps my distributor firmly in place.

I haven't had it long enough to see if it will hold up, but so far it has. For the stud, I prefer to use the Allen head method. A flange nut could be used in its place.
