I was hoping for a successful outcome
3/5

I purchased this with the Bora clamp edge system in the hopes that it would assist me with multiple cuts; however, after a few cuts, I removed it and simply used the clamp system without it. br>br>It would be more useful if you were making the same cut over and over, but I was making multiple cuts at the same time, so I had to constantly stop to move the edge to make sure I wasn't cutting into it when I made my cut. This required me to double-check my measurements, wasting time. br>br>The edge also does little to keep the bar perfectly straight. With the constant moving of the top to keep me from cutting it, it required even more adjustments and wasted even more time. Overall, I would return my money if I could. The rest of the Bora Clamp system worked perfectly, but this component was a complete waste of money.

It is in need of improvement
3/5

I'm assuming it's useful for something. It's just that I'm not sure what it is. br>br>I purchased a Bora NGX 50" clamp. I bought a saw guide to use as a cheap track saw so I could cut down 4x8 panels at the yard into 4x4 sections to fit in the van. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. That combination is extremely effective. br>br>Another great feature of the NGX clamp is that it adjusts from the clamp side, rather than the opposite side, as the previous version did. I'd have to walk back and forth from one side of a panel to the other, which would have required me to walk back and forth. br>br>I figured that adding the T- would be a good idea. The square would allow me to make a mark on one side, secure the clamp, and be ready to go. Wrong! br>br>The problems I encountered were as follows: 1) When the clamp is not attached in the CENTER of the T-shape. It's challenging to ensure that the T-square is square. br> On the other side, the square is fully engaged. (To my dismay, I discovered that the T-square is far too easy. ) When a large portion of a square is projecting out to one side, it is considered OUT OF ALIGNMENT. br>br> 2) THINKING the T-SQUARE is OUT OF ALIGNMENT. br>br> I got a false sense of security because the square was aligned on the other side of the panel. At the other end, I cut a good 1" off one side of the line. br> That could be something I can work around, or it could force me to return for anotherbr> half panel. The only way to find out is to wait. )br>br> Moral of the story: Both sides of the panel must be marked, and the clamp must be positioned in relation to the marks. So the T- For that purpose, square is useless. 3) If you're going to use it as a track saw, you'll need the T-handle. The square should be offset so that the saw blade can pass through it without cutting it. br>br> 4) I assumed I'd be able to use the T-shape's edge. I used the square as a guide and was able to easily set the clamp's edge. Once again, you are incorrect! br>br> 5) The aluminum T-shape's edge A plastic piece extends beyond the aluminum extrusion on Square. That isn't bad in and of itself. However, due to the manner in which the T-shirt is made, The edge of the square that attaches to the clamp is about 3/4 inch away from the panel's edge, making it difficult to line up. br>br> 6) An even more serious issue is the inability to align the T-shape. squarebr> precisely with the saw blade's edge- because to loosen the connection, the locking mechanism must be pulled UP, which means you CANNOT have the saw-blade attached. While the connection is loose enough to slide, you must choose between using a guide and using a saw. br> You have two options for adjusting the T-shape. square, or have the saw positioned on top of it. br> You can't have it both ways. 7) Finally, I'll mention that I didn't use the edge strip on the NGX clamp for the first time I used it. br> What a huge blunder! It's not necessary for tear-free operation. You do not need it to align the clamp with your marks, but you will need it to align the clamp with your marks. It's just difficult to align the clamp with the saw on it, get both sides right, and then clamp it down when you're done.

The clamps at the straight edge's ends are excessively thick
3/5

If the product you're cutting is less than an inch thick, your workbench could become a stumbling block. If the product is smaller than your bench and less than an inch thick, two ends of the clamp will collide with it and become tangled. You'll have to think outside the box in order to solve this problem.

NGX T-Bora Bora Bora Bora Bora Bora Bora Bor Clamp Edge Accessory 544002 is a square Clamp Edge Accessory
3/5

This is fine for basic cuts, but if you require precision, look elsewhere. I had read that it wasn't accurate, but the ratings were positive, so I gave it a shot. I put it on a 26" wide table, slammed it down, and measured to the end of the table about 20's" away several times. The measurements were off by as much as a quarter inch each time. On a relatively small piece of 26 x 20", I don't think that's accurate enough. I'm going to return it and get a refund.

It does the job for the time being, but it isn't what I expected for the price; however, you usually get what you pay for

Unfortunately, this tool line has a cheap, fragile feel to it, which is not what you want in a shop tool. I'm afraid to bring it to work because I'm afraid it'll get damaged or worse.

When not in use, use a clamp! The connecting part is very accurate, which I like
5/5

As previously stated, use an aclamp to secure the end piece, and you're ready to go. I'd make another purchase!.

For the price, it's fine
4/5

It's not perfect, but it gets the job done when it comes to breaking down sheet goods for re-use. Later, a table saw was used to cut the wood.

This is not a trustworthy source
3/5

It's simple to put together, but the connection doesn't make passing the circular saw from one side to the other difficult. Not even close to being accurate. Flimsy. I strongly discourage you from doing so.
