Yes. They are compatible with any bar clamp. The opening is 1/2" wide and is secured to the bar with a thumbscrew.
You will only receive the edge clamp, as stated in the review. It's the one in the picture's center. The product description, on the other hand, is not at all misleading. It expressly states that I will be receiving an edge clamp to use in conjunction with my existing bar clamps. The edge clamp works with any bar clamp that it can fit on, whether it's a Bessy or an Irwin clamp. Thicknesses ranging from 1/4" to 1/8" It should be able to fit 3/8" in there. I know it's a letdown that they show a bar clamp in the picture, but most people wouldn't know what it's for if they didn't see it, and I'm not trying to be rude, so please don't react that way. I'm just trying to be as clear as possible; I have a few of these and they work great for holding a side piece or door rest on the side of a cabinet, or perhaps a shelf guide, in place before screwing it in or marking your peg holes. If you're going to get this and don't already have bar clamps, I recommend getting some 24" and 36" Bessy ones or the cheaper Irwin ones with the wooden handle. There's no need for a comfort grip handle because clamps aren't moved all the time; otherwise, they wouldn't be clamps. You can save some money by doing so.

These auxiliary clamps are designed to be used in conjunction with bar clamps. A quick test of the two I purchased shows that they are moderately strong. The previous gripes about off-the-grid living have been addressed. The very good ball and socket joint on the pressure pad helps to make the center action appear accurate. br>br>I purchased these in order to make re-use easier. I'm gluing Formica to the front of my kitchen counter. I am optimistic. When the job is completed, I will provide an update. br>br>One last point. These clamps were designed to be used with bar clamps that have a deep throat. If the throat depth of your bar clamps isn't deep enough,.
The lateral stress on the bar clamps severely limits the amount of edge clamping that can be done, and the off-centering of the bar clamps further limits the amount of edge clamping that can be done. This clamp torques away from a perpendicular clamping motion due to the location of the clamping screw/pad on the axis. This is only suitable for minor edge clamping. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't use this on anything except very thin veneer and some lighter laminates like Formica (which is risky even then). I'd use pins for anything with a thicker edge banding, etc. nail polish, and clean up the smudges that resulted.
I bought two of these and was very disappointed with them. Although it appears to be a brilliant concept, it is ineffective. When you tighten the bar clamp to apply downward pressure, it twists and pulls it away from the edge. In the end, it was "worthless. ".
I ordered two of these, but only the part of the clamp shown in the photo was purchased. It only applies to the vertical portion of the screen. Very deceiving. I'm thinking about giving it back.
You will not receive a clamp; instead, you will receive the center piece. I've used them in a variety of ways, though. Clamping up an irregular object or applying extra pressure in key areas can be extremely beneficial. It's worth noting that I've used multiple clamps on one occasion. They are, however, a little overpriced in my opinion.
I've been using Bessey bar clamps for years, and there are times when you don't have access to both sides of the object you're clamping. The spindle clamp is a device that tightens (clamps) down the surface by using an existing bar clamp. I bought a few and they came in handy on a recent project; my only regret is that I don't have enough clamps, but I'm working on it.
I wish I had read the reviews first before making a purchase. All of the negatives are accurate, i. e. I'd like to see Bessey give a video demonstration on how to make these work, such as pulling the clamp up, twisting it, not being able to apply downward pressure, and so on. In the end, it's a waste of time and money.
Any bar clamp becomes a 3-in-1 with this clamp. clamp in a certain direction It appears to be in good condition. made, and it works perfectly. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. This is something I would recommend to anyone looking for a 3-in-1 solution. clamp in a certain direction.
