I would have given this five stars if the clamping surfaces were on the same side; one side is large, which is nice, but the other side is smaller

For the money, this is still a decent set of clamps. I'm comparing the quality of a Kreg Jig to that of a Kreg clamp. This one is just as nice as the Kreg, but at a fraction of the price.

Workmanship is poor

One of the grip pads has extremely poor workmanship. As you can see in the photo, the grip pad was not properly plated, so someone made a half-hearted attempt to fix it. I made a half-hearted attempt to repair it with a grinder. They created a rough, uneven surface that will cause the workpiece to be damaged. I'll be returning it for a refund. It's too bad I won't be able to reclaim my time.

This one was ordered because the Kreg products appeared to be a little pricey at the time. br>It turned out to be better than expected. The material is of good quality and will last for a long time. What's more, it keeps the money in your pocket. The hole jig was securely anchored. I'm still satisfied after a number of uses. This is a tool that I highly recommend.

Only one side of the clamp has a wide face

I would not purchase this face clamp in the future. Only one of the clamp's sides has a wide face. The other side is small, and as a result, it is more likely to scratch a wooden surface. The Kreg R3 jig is compatible with the clamp's wide face. As a result, it's a plus.
