The space between each tine should be one inch
It appears that the tines are too heavy to balance the wooden handle in a tub of water however, I have not submerged it. If it were to sink to the bottom of any body of water, I'm sure it would be at the bottom. But this is only a guess.
I agree - Clawing weeds and vegetation roots out of this machine is very effective. use it there to keep the display garden clean. As a volunteer at a nearby botanical garden, I use it to keep the display garden tidy.
This is not a good idea for litter boxes

A device that can pull weeds out of the root ball without disturbing the roots will be ideal for me. This tool contains tines that are perfectly positioned for this task, and I enjoy using all of them together, as I do not need to submit the whole tool to one user. Designed for use on various household projects, this tool is dependable and can last a lifetime with a bit of care. The good solid wood handle, the quality steel parts and the convenient leather thong make this a tool that can be enjoyed for years to come. The Felco pruner and I rate each other as follows It is always worth the price, although the product is a bit pricey.
The new vegetable garden I have in mind could be a great fit for this. The cinder blocks I used last year allowed me to build a 12'x6' vegetable garden. There were several bags of topsoil in the area, so I planted a few vegetables. As a result of the constant rain that we get here in Hawaii, weeds grow very quickly and become a nuisance, so instead of pulling them out by hand, I thought that this tool would be perfect for digging them out. I used it for a short period, but one prong broke and I haven't used it since then.
Probably made in China or Taiwan, given the tool's nature. In addition, there is no indication of where the tool is made on its label or in any other way. Although I don't have much experience with welding and steel constructions, the steel claw looks well built. It is firmly fastened and does not sag. Besides being a really solid, tough piece of wood with a glossy varnish finish, I also like the way the handle looks This is quite a good one. What is wrong with this is In light of what other reviewers have said It's best to add a rubber grip like one found on tennis rackets to protect the handles of the rake when they get wet. Although I would prefer a web on the splines, you won't find one like this on Amazon, so I will need to search for one in Japan when I rent a car in the future.
The item was taken out right away and used. I think you did an excellent job. Let me share some The tines should be triangular for cutting effect in clay soil, and the curve may have to be a little different even though my current tines worked just fine.
The handle on the one I used to have was shorter. While the claw part of that tool is excellent for loosening soil and digging up weeds, its short handle violates the principle of leverage and causes me to use a great deal of effort. The handle has been too short for years and I cannot figure out how to lengthen it. My solution would not be complete without one of these with a longer handle. I am so pleased with this.
Pick axes are heavy and unwieldy, so I could not dig out holes for plants with them. It was from my husband that I learned about My decision to order was influenced by reading people's responses. I did not think that it would hold up so well, but it has surprisingly held up after digging many holes in mostly rocky soil and is still standing strong and straight. It arrived quickly and I was very pleased with The little tool is great.
For a couple of years, I used one with a plastic handle. I like the fact that it was light. I can dig deeper into my garden with this one because it feels heavier in my hand and I can really claw out the weeds with it. Due to the heavier weight and longer handle, I'm able to dig more thoroughly with less effort. I also grip the tool better due to the longer handle.
Rather than pry rocks apart or lift heavy pavers, I would not use it to lift rocks or pavers, because the tines would probably break where they are I like the suit to be comfortable and it has weathered well with the passage of time. No one told me what "military grade steel" was, however the strength is excellent and nothing's broken or bent out of shape so far.
