This hand rake isn't as effective when it comes to raking wet material in Tacoma, WA, zone 8B, where springtime weather is wet. The rake did not have any fault whatsoever, it just wasn't sturdy enough to hand-rake leaves, with debris that was wet, in my garden beds. My flower beds will be raked often when they are dried out with this hand held rake. My application fits perfectly in that size.
