Questions & Answers

In a vegetable garden, is this useful to aerate the soil and loosen the granular ?

Without a doubt. Also, it is a good idea to soften hard soil before trying to work with it (soaking in either water or milk can help). It is also possible to dig plants out for transplant.

What can I do if a mob gets out of control or unruly with this pitchfork? There is a matching torch, isn't there?

The handle on something you choose for that job needs to be longer. With regard to torches, I just buy cheap tiki torches and add citronella to help keep mosquitoes at bay while I'm chanting and dancing. Raising the spirits.

How does the country of origin affect the quality of the product?

The great forged tools are made in Mexico by a company with a 50-year history that is very well respected in the industry. Exporting to nearly every country in the world, they are one of Mexico's most successful exporters.

Can you tell me if the handle extends 30" or the whole piece? Forks with tines that measure no more than 30" from top of handle to end of tines are what I need. ?

The tines of the tool are about 40" long, and the top of the handle is about the same. When I stuck it into the red clay of Georgia the first two times, mine lost a tin. It's 63 years old, I'm small, and I have a good sense of humor. A wimpy tool that I would not recommend, although the two left-over tines can be used to turn the compost. I purchased a Joseph Bentley garden fork, which is about 38 inches long, and I love it. Years ago, I found it on Amazon for $49, and I couldn't resist buying it. There is a solid wood and a stainless steel product. There will be no end to my possession of it. You are in my thoughts! Good luck!

I'm not happy with the handle! A handle is attached that is attached in the wrong direction to a tool with a fork! I don't know how a defect of this magnitude managed to sneak past quality control
3/5

I don't understand what they were Having wasted time wrapping it again and returning it now, it will need a bit more time to be resent.

During the summer, I consume a lot of gardening forks
5/5

During the summer, I consume a lot of gardening forks. If you hit a rock or a root, a tine would bend, or if the handle separated from the fork, the tine would snap. This has been in my possession for over a year and I use it at least five times a week The spring, summer, and fall are the times when you should work 10 hours a week. In spite of constant use and typical lack of care (leaving it in the garden stuck in the soil most of the time), it is still in good shape.

I am happy with my purchase
5/5

This Truper 30293 Tru Tough Spading Fork, 4-Inch is what I needed to pick up my project D. TINE An handle that measures 30 inches Measured in inches. Another tool that mysteriously disappeared from my tool shed is as strong as this one. According to my experience so far, I don't expect to have any breakage problems with it. It doesn't matter what you break, you can do it. There is no crowbar here. It is a spading fork. Make sure you use it within the limits of its design. This encompasses a broad range of topics - You will be happy with the result. Cleaning should be done after each Keep it inside when the weather is bad. It will be easy for you to pass Your son or daughter would be grateful if you would just take care of their tools someday.

This product should be replaced with a stainless steel one instead! When I used the fork for the first time, one of the tongs broke off
3/5

Due to a need to continue using the tool, I did so. Two tongs were all I had left after an hour. It is recommended that you spend an extra $10 for a stainless steel product if you have any kind of dried food Hard soil or hard water may cause this fork to break down. It may work for soft compost, but not much more.

For the application, it has the right size
3/5

The purpose of the purchase is to turn compost. For the application, it has the right size. A splinter was sticking out near the end of the wood handle where it was attached to the metal shank. It would have been problematic over time (I shaved it off with a As for the forks, they are flat and not Nevertheless, I needed to use the tool right away, so I am adapting and learning how it works. The price is too high and quality control needs to be improved.

The latest update can be found here It is made very well and is very good quality
4/5

My trusty Truper spade fork from a decade ago seems to be the same. That's not something you see very A NEW UPDATE The fork on this set fell apart today in light soil where I was "punching" holes for ironite around Sago palms in my front and back yards. I bought the set on 12/10/2015 with a 4 star rating. Since I've been using it for years, I have had no Hope it's just the runt in the litter, but am very disappointed how easily the brake failed since the car has been seldom used in the It's been over 10 years since I bought my first Truper spading fork. Spring is the time that I open up the flower beds in my front and back gardens with the heavy duty forks. The forks are used to spear deep holes along the drip line of my trees in the early summer The azalea Ironite and small amounts of fertilizer are placed around my home as well as my mature 40 year old sago tree. It is much cheaper to do this than to buy the fertilizer blocks for the same purpose and to use a small quantity several times a year, instead of buying the fertilizer blocks. It is great to have the tough handle of the Truper when the rain quickly falls and I accidentally leave the spading fork propped up. As for the top handle, it is a great perch for the birds and those pesky furry tail tree rodents when I forget to take a break in the yard.
One of my personal favorites.
Moreover, it is inexpensive as well. Home and outdoor retailers who sell at big box stores. Once I get my two cubic feet of garden mulch I'll be good to go.

Dig circles with ease with this tool
3/5

It doesn't look neat with the handle and spade fork at the same time. In the product description, it should be noted that this product works well for digging.

This appears to be a well-made product
5/5

A spading fork that had a wooden shaft and handle, as well as one that was sturdy and well made was what I was looking for Forks should be made at reasonable prices this one seems to meet those requirements, but also has the advantage of being made in Mexico instead of the usual location. I like how it is well balanced and has the weight you would expect from a well-built As long as I am fully satisfied with it, I will be satisfied.
