Gardner's Life Saver could make a positive difference in the world. It's a wonderful tool for loosening the soil around other plants in order to remove weeds by their roots without messing with the other plants. I'm 73 years old and enjoy it very much. By using it, I save on my wrist and back pain. Since I no longer strain both, I no longer strain either. It's hard to keep the thin string blades from getting buried in my soil, which is not sandy. As I thrust it in, I wiggle it in an upward motion a few times. Once you have pulled out the weed, dispose of it. When I'm finished, I just step on the loose soil and there's no indication I disturbed the area, much less that the mulch was disturbed.

Today was the first day that I used it

Poke, Sedge grass, Onion Garlic, and other weeds were all rotting roots and I had to dig them up. Using this tool, I was able to reach deep into the earth and locate It covered a larger area than my old shovel, so it was more effective. Quite pleased with it!.

My tool of choice for digging out weeds is this one. With just a few pokes under the roots I can loosen the plant with no problem. With this tool, I no longer have to dig through packed clay dirt with a shovel or small tool. I purchased another one like this as a This product is easy to clean and has lasted for years due to the way it was Has the appearance of being solid and is extremely durable.

This is an epic elated to use it to lift the iris out without using my giant fork and disturbing the whole clump

I misjudged, and it didn't work at all! As soon as I stepped on it, it bent! As such, you won't be able to use this unless your soil is soft when you work it.
