A pair of loppers like these is able to cut quite a few large branches. I like them a lot better that what I was using before. The angle of the blades makes for great leverage when you get a branch between the blades, allowing you to cut thick branches easily. I dislike this also because the "mouth" of the blades doesn't open as much as it should, so when I am stretching to reach branches high up, I must use steady hands and aim for the limb to get Cutting is very easy, but it is well worth it because it is easy to do There's no power. In addition, the branch can only become a problem if it's several feet away from the branch. Since these are used for trail cutting on an ATV, sometimes I am hanging out of the side-by-side The side of the tree is cut. Moreover, they work like a charm. Additionally, they are easy to use around the house on a daily basis. It is very easy to use these tools even if you have weak muscles, since they cut thick branches with little effort. It's very hard to find a better pair of shoes.
The fact that Fiskars is having its equipment made in China is a sad development. It seems like every other manufacturer chooses to manufacture there despite all the reasons not to. I thought they were made here or in Finland. Quality at the beginning, and quality at the end. This is an obvious statement.
It broke within a few minutes of using them for the first time. The black blade was lodged in the branch after I applied some pressure to it. The pressure was abruptly released and a cracking noise was heard. I removed the branches from dead, downed trees in my backyard and put the blade back in. My two-year-old son must have thought it was HILARIOUS when he saw it because I must have had a funny look on my face.
Aim and shoot. The Fiskars brand was one of the first things I bought, since they have always done a good job. I could use loppers, but i didn't know how to use these loppers One of the blades twisted during use on smaller branches, causing it to collide head-on with another blade as I was cutting a branch, resulting in the chipping off of a piece of the blade. It's time to go shopping again.
This is the only product I use on a daily basis. It's a good product, but sometimes it seems to get stuck mechanically, so I am giving four stars here instead of five. I am unsure of what is causing It seems to free them up if I remove them from the limb, open and close, and then try again. I have a feeling that they are bigger than the ones I had before, and maybe it is a quirk of the longer ones, or maybe it is just those loppers in particular. Regardless, they work well, so long as there are no lingering issues.
The Fiskar products I have been using for quite awhile have mostly been successful for me. My wife and I are doing lots of work around the house with the quarantine, so I decided to use the lopper.
I cut one small tree about 3/4" just fine. Later, I tried it on a cherry tree about 1 1/2" in diameter. An edged casting that appears cheap appears to be used for the blade. Fiskar products will probably not be of interest to me in the future as I am rather disappointed with this tool. Despite its attractive design, the lopper doesn't hold up if it falls apart. The measurements and finish of the lopper appeared good.
It looks nice and they're easy to use These are heavy and expensive so they would be rated two stars if I was not paying attention to price The muscles have to be overused every time you cut something. Moreover, they are shaped in an ergonomically incorrect way, so you have to hold them at an awkward angle to cut with them because the cutting part is shaped strangely. The blades cut thick wood like weeds an inch to 1 1/2 inches wide. However, they were so hard to use, I would not buy them again & would only recommend them if you also want to workout at the same time, as they felt like I had pound weights on my wrists when I used them. The weight and size of the item is very heavy It is difficult to use because of its design.
As light-emitting diodes, they do not emit light Because of their weight, they can occasionally be a bit frightening when I want to cut a tree branch, but that has never stopped me from using them over and over. The price is definitely worth it!.
