Despite the hype, two of these three pieces are well worth the money. one, however, just does not have anything special about it. Although the price was good enough, I almost returned it, but in the end, the hassle would not be worth it. branches up to an inch without much problem, but anything larger than that and you're gonna get enough resistance to not use it. The product is not of higher quality, and it may even be lower than the less expensive stuff at Home Depot. It can fit around fairly large branches but doesn't have a chance at all of cutting them because the beak is so big and wide. It may also be important to mention that I'm a strong person, I have been known to use my strength up until the handles start bending with no further progress being made The pros include This is *br1. The look is pretty serious*Cons This is *br1. Those who look good are lying to themselves.
If you are a WHIMP or a SNOWFLAKE living in their Mama's basement, this LOPPER is not for you. There is a good deal of heavy and heavy duty lifting involved, that does require old fashioned muscle ( strength in this case). Nonetheless, it does exactly what it says it will do. Cutting up to 3" is what it is rated to do, but 3" is quite a bit. Therefore, anything under 3 inches will cut the butter, if you have enough This product is for CRYBABIES and WHIMPS, please do not buy it.
The loppers are very well-made and of good quality, but it would require Superman to actually use them to cut a 3" branch. With one handle on the ground and my full weight on the other, I can cut a sapling 1" in diameter with about the force I can muster. The documents appear to be sharp right out of the box, so I cannot think of anything that could be improved. Old Fiskars are much easier to use and cut a much larger branch with very little force than my new ones. The one I received is credited back to me. Amazon has been a great help.
As most people have described, this is a heavy duty item. I see on mine that it's made in Mexico, but with parts from China and the US The Taiwanese. Living branches can be easily cut with it, but thicker dead branches or bush bases are harder to cut with it. Taking the Lifetime Warranty into consideration Ensure that you read the warranty thoroughly. As it says, it's the lifetime of the tool which is very murky and the loppers have to be returned to the factory. I assume the customer will have to pay for this. Sorting a big and heavy item like this would be expensive.
It doesn't matter that they're brand new since they don't even cut. I have never purchased a piece of yard equipment that has been more useless. It's a close second to the 4 hole aerator. I hope you don't waste your money on these loppers, and don't listen to the guy who says they aren't for little girls. My old 1 1/2" loppers are very useful here on the farm and I've got no problem pushing them through 3" limbs with muscle power. A limb that was 1" in diameter alone would have required way more force than it needed. You would be tired after half an limb if you tried cutting an entire orchard with these. They were sent back after I tested them on about 4 cuts. My old brand had gone bad
I wish I knew the brand I got before but they are too old to be of any use
- - fiberglass handles that are round - Bypass cut at the hinge joint-- A bumper made of rubber.
The overgrowth that grows on our local trails (mostly scrub oak) has to be removed. Staff members from recreation brought these items to volunteers for The pair I bought for my own home was so impressive, I bought another pair to My eyes have never seen any pruners so large and so strong. As if they were made of butter, they slice through thick limbs. didn't want to go back to the cheap versions I used to buy at the big box stores. If you want to make short work of thick branches, these are your go-to tools. Don't buy them for trimming daisies, but get them for trimming thick limbs!.
This is the most sturdy pair of loppers I have This is a highly recommended product for professional daily use. I'm very impressed with the sharpness. This is an extremely heavy duty device. My jaw dropped when I saw this.
My only choice of loppers is these. The loppers don't like cry babies because they require them to use their little muscles, which they can't handle. To have the branch cut by the loppers is expected.
