My kitchen just got remodeled and I needed new tapeing knives. I rarely drywall and tape, but recently remodeled my main bathroom. There are plenty of taping knives available for an outrageous price, but I was looking for something like this for a reasonable price. This knife had a wide selection of good reviews and the price was also reasonable. The tape was easy to use in my bathroom and I used it quickly. As you might have already guessed, drywall taping is definitely an art, and its a skill that takes years to achieve. To get those neatly taped seams and corners that rarely need sanding, it may take years. In my case, I resemble the homeowner who does his own drywall once every couple of years, with plenty of sanding to do to achieve a good By using this knife, I made a hard job easier so that my finished work would be better than I expected. Due to my hand arthritis, I find that this knife is light enough so that I can use it for hours without my fingertips or hands hurting too much. It gives you that nice slight bend you need when spreading mud because the blade is strong and thin. The product is awesome and the price is amazing.
This works great! In order to scrape popcorn off the ceiling of my bathroom, I purchased this product. You did a great job. I like how you used the wide knife to make I ordered this, I was just using a putty knife, which was flimsy and only two inches wide, so this was a much better product.
The highest quality, keep it clean after each use & always keep it in a dry place They are high quality and will last a long time. I've been using the 1970's model with wooden handles and I didn't think there was anything better, but there is and they're comfortable to hold. Thanks to the USA manufacturer and Amazon for high quality and customer.
This item worked well at first until it developed rust. It was soaked in vinegar for two days until it was clean. It took three days to remove rust, and after that it became so flexible that you couldn't use it to apply sheet rock.
It is a nice tapeing knife, and if I were to buy it again, I would get one with the metal cap to knock down pops more easily, but this works great too. Would it be better if I did, but at least I have a good tool, so I am not so damn easy to blame!.
I do not recommend this product. It did work out that I got.
A very sturdy and malleable material. I found my purchase to be satisfactory.
