I took my solder iron and set it to the recommended temperature of 260 degrees Celsius. I used a 3d printer at 160 C (because my solder iron wouldn't go that low), and the tape melted like butter. THE SCOTCH TAPE PERFORMED BETTER. This is nothing more than a roll of cheap yellow scotch tape. As seen in the photo. br>br>UPDATE 9/23/21br>The company that sent it apologized, saying that their vendor sent them the wrong tape batch. This still gives me pause, not for myself, but for anyone who has ever received the incorrect tape and never tested it. TEST YOUR HIGH TEMP TAPE AT ALL TIMES! br>Well, I got the new rolls of tape that they were re-stocking today. Those were sent and tested. All three rolls were tested at 200 degrees Fahrenheit, then at 260 degrees Fahrenheit (the maximum temperature allowed), and all three passed. I also ran it through its paces at 375°F and 410°F to see how it responded. With the exception of a little smoke at 410°C (well above the recommended temperature), it performed admirably.
Even if you don't use heat to remove the tape, it will stain. This tape ruined four tumblers, so I won't be buying it again.
When you use heat with this product, it leaves stains on your clothes.
All of my sublimation tumblers are now yellow! NOT HAPPY RUINED SIX!.
Do not waste your money because it will result in yellow stains that will make you very unhappy.
Thanks.
