Questions & Answers

Do you have a black or white adhesive side?

It's important to note that the adhesive is not black. Because of the other answer, I bought it and discovered that it is white.

Will it be able to withstand a seven? What is the weight of a 7-pound wall shelf?

Up to 2 pounds can be held in each inch of fastener. That's a direct quote from the company. As a result, the answer is no. It only weighs 2 pounds. 4 pounds cannot be held in a space of 2 inches. Only 2 pounds can be held in a space of 2 inches. Its adhesive and connecting properties are not additive. There is an EXTREME fastener with a holding strength of 10 pounds. That is the method you must employ.

I attached the fasteners to my wall, but they only lasted a day. Did I do something wrong?

Did you firmly press the two strips together? They must be firmly pressed together in order for the teeth to lock together. br>Did the comic strip on the wall come loose? I'm not sure why it was successful; t cling to the side of the building

Is it possible to remove the adhesive that holds the velcro base in place?

These velcro strips have been placed on a variety of surfaces. Concrete, wood, metal, and plastic are some of the most common materials used in construction. I was able to remove the velcro and adhesive with little difficulty. I had no problems with the adhesive on the surfaces mentioned; I simply peel it off or scrape the velcro and adhesive from the surface with a putty knife. That was my experience, and I hope this information is useful.

It's on almost every device I own, as well as all over the internet
5/5

In my organization, I've been using regular Velcro for a long time. I have it on almost every device I own, as well as on my desks and shelves, so that I can arrange my devices in three dimensions and in any orientation I need. This type of fastener is the next evolution of the "hook and loop" fastener, and I've replaced all of the Velcro with it. It's a sturdy plastic and each piece is the same, so it's not really a hook and loop fastener, which can be hard to tell online. Rather than sticking together, the pieces snap together. It uses a much smaller piece to securely hold devices in place. I have a piece on the back of my phone case, a piece on my portable battery pack, and a piece on my desk. As a result, I can connect my phone to my battery pack, the battery pack to the desk, and the battery pack to the desk. etc. When you factor in the ten other devices that have, you can see how many choices there are. As I previously stated, it is plastic and rigid, so it can feel a little uncomfortable on the back of my phone if I hold it in a particular way, but I can live with it. It also forms a strong bond that has yet to come loose. It took some effort to get it off of one of my phone cases, and it also left a gooey residue behind that I haven't completely removed, so keep that in mind. This should not be used to hang photo frames on walls that will be removed cleanly later. There are other products that would be better suited to the task.

This is an excellent product
5/5

This is what I bought to go between my Miata convertible's sun visors and the roof. These amazing little cars are notorious for having cheap hinges that break, causing the visors to fall off the roof. I attached one end of this connector to the 'pocket' where the visor snaps into, and the other end to the top of the visor (where the small mirror is). It holds the visor in place perfectly, but I can also 'unsnap' it to lower it into the sunshade position. It's not the most elegant solution, but it's a lot less work than taking out the visors and replacing the hinges.

It continues to fall off
3/5

To hold my flashlight trigger, I put it on a brand new KRISS Vector that had never been fired. Even after wiping away any residue from the factory or my fingers, I couldn't get it to stay attached to the front side. When I first tried to remove it, the fasteners pulled it off the bottom! That's what I get for refusing to purchase 3M.

Window of a car I bought it to attach small video cameras (dash cams) to my car's windshield
4/5

This is the same material that EZ-IT employs. Transponders, as well as other toll companies, may be used. It has a strong grip on itself, but it will weaken and come undone in the sun. It's more than likely not from the window, but from whatever you've attached to it. br>br>However, you should be aware that if you attempt to detach the'velcro' in the heat of summer, the adhesive will weaken and most likely fail. After all, using a hair dryer to remove these is how you get rid of them if you ever need to. The one I removed, however, did not leave any sticker residue, which was nice. br>br>The only criticism I have of these is how little you get for the price, but they do the job.

Extremely powerful! I bought these to Velcro to the back of my TV that I mounted my Apple TV to
5/5

Velcro is a very strong material. It's almost too strong, according to a review I read. That is true! I won't complain because I don't want my Apple TV to fall to the floor, but I understand her point of view. To be honest, I think I could use this to hang pictures and a variety of other items because it's so sturdy! It accomplishes my goal and could be applied to a variety of other situations. This item has made me extremely happy.

It lasts a long time
5/5

As full- As long-term RVers, we've discovered a plethora of applications for these heavy-duty vehicles. Strips of heavy-duty fasteners They have our digital clock affixed to the buffet tiles; Our satellite receiver and DVD/Blu-ray player are kept with them. Rays bounce around during travel, causing them to play; The controls for the bed warmer are attached to the nightstands' side panels. You see what I mean. All that is required is that the surfaces be clean prior to application. My only gripe is that they're so darn expensive!.

Scotch Heavy Duty Fasteners do exactly what they say on the tin
4/5

These fasteners meet all of my expectations. Standard hook and loop fasteners are outperformed by these. You will find that they are very dependable if you follow the instructions for mounting (make sure the surface is clean and dry) and using them. The fact that they are only available in black is a minor disadvantage. It would be nice if Scotch made them in other colors, though it is a minor annoyance. These fasteners are primarily used to mount computer devices such as USB hubs, as well as to join and stabilize multi-piece assemblies. Monitor displays, SSD drive mounting, and so on.

Velcro is not a good option
5/5

Excellent product, which I strongly recommend. I bought Velcro thinking they would be the same, but they aren't. The difference between this and Velcro is that this is what you want if you want to securely mount something to the wall while still being able to remove it for use. Velcro will stay on the wall, but it will rip the piece attached to the paint off as well when you try to remove the item. This, however, is not the case.
