It is 3M 468MP adhesive.br>I assume this company simply cuts sizes from the 3M product.br>br>It is the genuine 3M product.
It's clear, but you have to press it into the material as you install it. The more you press, the whiter it gets! There may be air bubbles as well, so proceed with caution!
I wouldn't put this tape on my skin because it's so sticky.
I'm not sure what you mean when you say 1/4" and 1/2" tape rolls. This is a 12" x 12" square of 3M 468MP transfer adhesive.

This is incredible. It's crystal clear, and the small sizes are convenient. They were used to secure acrylic letters to a different surface. I used a laser cutter to cut the letters after laminating the adhesive sheet to the back of the acrylic. This adhesive sheet was easily cut through by the laser.
Everything appears to be fine and normal when you peel the larger wax sheet and apply it to the surface. When you try to remove the brown sheet (with the 3M logo on it), the adhesive detaches from the surface it is currently laid on, ruining the adhesive layer and leaving holes with no adhesive. If you try to remove the brown sheet first, the adhesive will stick to the wax sheet as well. Two wax sheets are required for this product in order to release the adhesive evenly and quickly. This product is a complete waste of money as it currently stands. br>You must pull slowly and steadily in small increments - not upwards, but horizontally, then tamp down the detached adhesive in the same increments, being careful not to break the adhesive, as any holes will curl up onto themselves and enlarge the holes (resulting in rubber snot - see photo). (To use the words of another reviewer) Just laying one adhesive sheet will take at least 30 minutes. after you've messed up the first two.
This was used to mount a PEI sheet to the bed of my 3D printer. The issue here is that whatever was used to cut the sheets tended to make the adhesive peel away from the backing in a sloppy manner. As a result, when you peel the backing off the adhesive to lay it down on your PEI sheet or bed, it pulls and stretches the adhesive. As a result, instead of having a nice 12x12" square sheet of adhesive, you'll have some of it sticking to itself. br>br>Three of the five sheets I received were affected in this way. 1 was easy to put on. I haven't used the fifth yet. When I need more, I'll probably try a different vendor to see if the backing comes off cleaner.
Everything was crammed in. It was fine to use once I had the sheet cut properly. It jammed in my cricut for 3 sheets, so I wasted them. To get it to run again, I had to scrape goo out of it. They are extremely sticky, but they do not appear to adhere to surfaces as well as other brands. I prefer the size to other types I've used because it's larger than letter size, but that's the only good thing about this experience. I'm not going to buy anything else. The rest of the pack was thrown away.
One of the most aggravating aspects of flexographic printing plates is that, no matter how careful you are, the adhesive weakens over time. Because we personalize our products with customer logos, we have to change printing plates frequently. We used to use masking tape on the edges of the plates until there was no adhesion left, then buy new plates when the adhesion started to deteriorate. This is infuriating because the plates can be quite costly, and even more so because they aren't worn enough to warrant a replacement. br>br>After a bit of searching, I came across this adhesive on Amazon. I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a shot and see if I could restore the plates' adhesive so they'd last longer; the purchase was well worth it! It bonded extremely well with the printing plate and performed admirably with the aluminum roller. It didn't even peel off on the roller, which is even better. I'm ecstatic to learn that by simply reapplying a $3 sheet every few cycles, we could save $1000 or more per year. I highly recommend it for coder printing in general!.
The only drawback is that removing it is extremely difficult and time consuming if you ever need to. Alcohol will be required. A razor scraper, gloves, and a great deal of patience are all you'll need.
This worked great for attaching foam heel rests to my son's racing kart. Withstood high levels of stress and vibration. However, it is very thin and must be handled with care during application to ensure that it provides adequate coverage and does not fold over. I also had to purchase more than I required for this application, but I'm sure it will come in handy in the future. In addition, compared to industrial suppliers, the cost/quantity ratio is lower.
This is what I used to adhere the PEI sheet to my 3D printer's bed. What I wasn't expecting (and could've predicted if I'd done my homework) was that this stuff isn't just sticky; it's similar to the sticky boogers that come with spam letters containing fake credit cards. It's the same as before, but on a much larger scale. br>br>Lesson learned: br>br> If you don't stick it to a flat surface, you'll have to spend a lot of time peeling off boogers and reapplying it.
