The real razor is in the handle, and you must remove it to insert the plastic razor. I bought these to remove a clear bra that I had from my car for nearly 18 years. These tools come with an actual razor built in. I had a little trouble getting that razor off. Loosen the screw enough to remove it, then pull the plastic apart to carefully remove the blade. Being very careful while using leather gloves is a good idea since it is easy to cut yourself. From there, it was fairly straightforward to put the plastic razor in.

Taking that out, I placed one of the red plastic blades in its place. They are wonderful because they don't have too much thickness so you can easily cut yourself, and yet they are thin enough so you can easily use them on delicate surfaces like wood, tables, stoves, product boxes with gummy labels, etc. It's amazing how well they work! We noticed today that the ice cream had hardened on our wooden table from earlier today. The spots just pop right off the plastic once I moved it along I almost became addicted to using it!.

There are times when a plastic razor blade comes in handy. While most of the time steel blades will do the job, this time I thought I would try these since I needed a blade that wouldn't dig into automotive paint. It is a great product. With the additional blade holders that came with this kit, I use one with a metal blade for their tougher jobs and the other with the plastic blade for jobs that need more attention when scrubbing The blade edge of the plastic blade has become unusable after just one scraping attempt when I have used plastic blades before. Any amount of force tends to cause the edge to roll over or otherwise deform. However, even after a fair amount of scraping force is applied, these sharp blades still hold up exceptionally well. It has been used for 30 years in one of the holders and I still have an original blade in it So far, we have translated 40 times. When I bought this set, my original intention was to remove dealership decals from a car that I didn't buy, so I was left with a large amount of plastic scrapers and nothing to do with them. The quality and sturdiness of the tool impressed me.
The handle doesn't flex or seem like it will break or bend. A sharp blade fits nicely in the hole. As part of my engine rebuild, I used them to clean sealing surfaces. Aluminium surfaces are vulnerable to damage if they are cut To protect the plastic, I use it. In my opinion, these stood up to the job perfectly.
