This frame will accept a standard pole with a threaded tip.
This frame does not hold up well and is constantly loosening. I couldn't keep it and had to give it back.

Please keep in mind that if you're a beginner like me, you'll also need to buy 'roller frame end caps'.
This device was purchased to help me spread epoxy over a concrete floor more evenly. Epoxy is a thick substance that can be difficult to spread, especially when it's cold outside. After about an hour, the roller frame couldn't handle the epoxy's tackiness. 30 pushups in a row. The brush popped out a few times as the frame weakened. To be fair, this could be beyond its capacity, but in comparison, my standard HD 9" roller performed admirably. Latches are not the best binding solution; an easy grip wing nut would be preferable, and the arms must be locked in place.
A serious painter will appreciate this no-nonsense tool. Because I was working on a 1,500 sq. ft. project, this was my first time using anything other than the standard 9" rollers. ft. The floor is concrete. For this job, I only purchased professional-grade tools, and I'm glad I did. This was a big job, and the special paint I was using cost more than $100 per gallon, and it had to be applied in two coats in a short amount of time. I was able to complete an acceptable job using this tool, as well as the handle, bucket, and rollers. I'm sure I'll put this set to good use. I'm interested in painting jobs in the future.
The roller's red locks are a poor design, as they are extremely difficult to release. Secure the roller in place. The next time I buy something, I'll compare it to another brand.
This thing rips a ceiling down in a matter of seconds. It was a bit of a pain for the walls. We found that going back and forth over our heads was easier to control than going up and down on a wall for some reason. It's a little difficult to locate the accessories. We were able to locate an 18" paint tray at a big box store, but we were unable to locate liners.
The only disadvantage is that you must be careful when using a screwdriver to open the red tabs because they can easily break, resulting in your $20 roller frame being lost.
It's adequate for most tasks, but the plastic clasp could be replaced with something more durable; it didn't impress me. Aside from that, everything went according to plan.
I deducted a star because this 18-inch paint roller does not come with an end cap. It appears to be suitable for use. After that, you should get end caps.
