I'm a seasoned painter, but I found this product to be a bit difficult to work with. The roller would frequently seize, causing the paint to be dragged on rather than rolled. Purdy's design, in my opinion, could be improved. Aside from that, when it was working properly, the results were excellent. The velour rollers had a nice texture and didn't lint at all. It's a pleasure to hold the handle.
This is ideal for corners and edges. I expected it to be of good quality because it was Purdy, and I was not disappointed. The roller was simple to put on and take off, and it rolled smoothly with no problems.
Because of the PURDY name, I decided to purchase it. The roller will not move. On the frame, it appears to be too tight. I'm hoping that I'll be able to use the rollers on a frame from a different manufacturer. It was purchased for the purpose of painting furniture. It was a waste of money for me, and it is not inexpensive.

This is a poor performance. The white dove role, which has a larger inner diameter, is far more effective.
I needed this roller to paint the space behind the toilet, but it wouldn't roll, so I had to use a regular brush instead.
