Selected User Reviews For Grip Tight Tools Classic Roller Frame, 9-Inch
The roller frames are sturdy, and the rollers glided smoothly over them. I had no issues with them breaking or bending. Precision Defined 9 in rollers with a 1/2" nap were used. br>They were also durable and easy to roll. For those covers, the fit was excellent and snug. Any frame will be affected by the size of your cover diameter. br>I had no trouble getting the roller covers on and off. br>My recommendation is to buy three and try them out, but don't use the three pack link; instead, enter three in the quantity field where one is.
Excellent craftsmanship and sturdiness. There have been no issues!.
Unless you want to spend $15 on a good roller, these will suffice; I bought ten of them for my family to help me paint my new house; we've primed and painted, and all ten rollers are still in good working order.
The quality of the threaded handles is poor. For a project, I purchased two of these. One's threaded end has a metal ring that appears to have been stepped on. It's impossible for me to thread my extension pole through it. The other appears to have a thread that isn't quite right. Both of my extensions thread in about one turn and come to a halt, leaving the roller handle wobbly.
You get what you pay for these jobs, but they aren't done well. I was painting a ceiling and one side of the roller had worn out, so the paint didn't even get on the ceiling.
It wouldn't connect to my extender, preventing me from reaching the tops of my walls. It would fall off after I screwed it on. My floors were completely covered in paint. This is one item that I would not purchase again.
We were only halfway through painting one wall when it broke!.
Within the first ten minutes of use, the handle broke.
