For measuring moisture content in lumber that I mill, I use a much more expensive moisture meter. In order to keep in my truck while out and about, I was looking for a cheap option. Despite the moisture meter's ability to measure around 9% moisture in lumber, this thing will not even detect it. Rather than spending a few dollars on this one, I recommend spending more money.
