Product Description

Useful as a prototype water leak detector after flooding, or for general water damage detection. Wood and other materials can be checked for moisture after they have been wetted, or a flood damage area can be tested to determine if there is moisture left.

Stick the stainless steel pins into the surface of what you are trying to measure, and this will provide you with a reading of the moisture content. A pin length of 0 is used. A thickness of two inches (5 millimeters)

To check for moisture behind the vapor barrier behind the sheet rock, I will need to do some measurements. To simplify, the probes need to be inserted at least 3/4" into the wall. Could you please explain what you mean?

MM1e is a general message and I don't know how to use Are you going to measure the moisture in the ground with this device? What should I do when I turn on the lamp? Do I turn it on high or low when I turn it on?

For measuring flat surfaces like drywall, it is designed specifically for that purpose. Neither for the ground nor for the air. You get good instructions with this book.

This product is not suitable for use as In order to burn efficiently, firewood should contain between 15% and 20% moisture content, according to the Environmental Protection Agency

The meter only goes up to 15%, so it is not very useful when it comes to assessing whether split wood is ready to burn. Even though that firewood burns well, I tested it on two year old firewood stored under cover. All three reported 15% even though that wood burned.

A simple and easy to use system

In my situation, the drywall behind a unit with an AC leak needed to be tested. As far as I can tell, it was pretty accurate. In the days that followed, the meter's reading became better and better. It's time to put your guessing cap on. Additionally, it is a good price.

I'm so impressed with how well it works! Although this meter was the cheaper version, it was just as good as the more expensive ones in terms of accuracy

As far as appearance and feel are concerned, this is a very well-designed website. The device is very easy to operate, and will turn you into a leak-finding pro in no time. I wish I had owned one long ago. I would definitely recommend it.
