This product is very good for its price range. Even though the material is plastic, the degree of accuracy is still within 1 degree. The fact that it rotated 360 degrees was appealing to me. This is an easy-to-read book. When light gray and dark gray are together, it is difficult for one to see dark gray markings. The angle unit's hub was too easy to change or bump the angle measurement, particularly in a tight area and between the time of taking the reading and getting to the miter saw. I would like to see a locking mechanism built into the unit or a tension adjustment, at the least. I have added images to the section of the fact sheet that comes with the tool so that the settings and layout sections are better illustrated. This product provides a better value than competing products, with bubble levels, legibility both in SAE and metric, and an attractive price. It is unclear how useful the instruction sheet included in the package is, you'll have to learn how to use it elsewhere if you don't know how. The bubble levels make it useful. While the bubble levels are indeed useful, the dial background is gray and makes measurement very hard to read. Though the picture shows the gray background and the baseboards are fitted together well, I expected there to be more contrast. As it turned out, it helped me make successful mitered cuts.
