However, you should not use a protractor for every task. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. It gives accurate readings and has a built-in level, which I find extremely useful. Only a few things would be different in my opinion: 1. br>br> It would be fantastic to have a second 90-degree angle. br>2nd levelbr> It's a little heavy, so it's difficult to move around with one hand, especially if you're trying to draw a line or something.
3. When the digital unit is switched on, it makes a constant humming noise.
4. Given the unit's rounded end, it's difficult to draw accurate corners. So, if you want to draw a line with a specific angle that meets another line at a specific point, this isn't the tool for you. If there had been a built-in laser projector, it might have been possible. That'd be fantastic, wouldn't it?.

The manual could be a lot better, but it's accurate

The angle finder is absolutely incredible. That is something I acknowledge. However, I believe it can do even more than the manual claims. It's obviously excellent for crown moldings. That is covered in the manual. However, if it can do that, I see no reason why it can't handle other compound angles, such as cutting and beveling rafters intersecting a different roof (as on a gable). ) However, there are no instructions on how to do so. Bosch has also been completely ineffective in responding to my requests for help in this area. If I had to give Bosch a score, I'd give them a one.

There isn't a real-time readout for the absolute angle leveler

Only the relative angle is displayed by the device, not an absolute live level angle reading. I bought it as a digital leveler, and I was told it did exactly that, which was incorrect. The device was eventually returned to me.

It was well worth the money

This is a fantastic tool, and if you work with angles and degrees frequently, it will come in handy. For my job as a metal fabricator, I use this to measure staircases and get precise angles. The locking knob is not on the front of the older version, as it is on the newer one. This is a fantastic option. It performs admirably and does not shift its position.

A carpenter's tool that is extremely useful on the job site. This tool is a bit pricey, but it's well worth it if you want to install molding with precision and detail. It was extremely beneficial to me.
