In my experience, 2-inch round steel posts are less brittle than 3-inch If we are not careful, it won't There is a problem with the magnets they use. The only reason I chose this one over other post levels was because this was the reason I chose it.
You can see it in the picture. It comes with one elastic band. There is a brown/tan line down the middle of the picture which represents the elastic band. There is also a small light spot in the middle to the left of the elastic piece which is used for attaching In addition to that, it has four magnetic strips on the inside that attach to metal posts and the unit must be stretched around the post and flipped over the hook on the other side. As a unit, this is quite impressive, and I would definitely
After attaching it to the top of the post, I poured the foam on top. I checked that the level was good and that it was I was very happy with the results.
Folding is not an option with this tool.

(Actually, we feel a stronger magnet would solve this problem. ) In the case of our non-working product, we purchased A magnet GloOrange kind can be compared as well. Those who do not In terms of thickness, the thick band beat out the thin band on this level. On this level, the magnetic kind came with a much stronger band. It was determined on this level that a rubber band was required to prevent the band from breaking. We were concerned about the breakage of the band that comes with the level. This is a thin rubber band that is almost transparent (about 1/4 the thickness of the average rubber band). This level is also harder to read due to the dark blue color of the plastic. The lighter color level of the competitor is easier to read. In exchange, you will receive a reading to assist you in setting up your post, and the cost will be significantly less than GloOrange. If you set fences occasionally and buy it to use with an additional rubber band, it will still suffice. If you set fences frequently, you might want to spend the additional money and get the lighter colored level with the thicker band, which can still be used on the metal poles. Those who do not A magnetic level does not have magnets (of course), but light duty magnetic levels still require the use of a band.
This worked perfect for the project I was working on. As a result, I am so happy with my findings and am extremely pleased with how easy it was to use. Whether you hold it by hand to check level or attach it to the post for simple hands-free level checking, you can easily check level on the post. As it is made of plastic and is lightweight, it would be good to have in a tool kit of professionals, but I am not sure how it would hold up. While not something I would carelessly toss in a box, it works great for DIY projects, has a price that is reasonable for limited projects, and works well for the purpose. Attaching it to a wooden 4 x 4 post requires a rubber band that is included, but as you might expect, a rubber band is not as durable as you might hope. The rubber bands I have in my bag have lasted for a couple of days after which they are starting to show wear and tear, but the good news is that they are quite easy Using a short bungee strap could be a good solution to replacing the rubber band. If the rubber band will be in use for a prolonged time period, you'd want a longer lasting solution but it might not be necessary. In case you don't have any rubber bands, you can use them as a quick and easy solution. The back of the object has magnetic strips for attaching it to a metal post,<extra_id_20> but I must admit, the strips did not appear to have a strong magnetic pull. On the backside, as well as on all four sides and on the bottom and top, there are magnetic strips located, so there is some strength in numbers, but it will take a lot of metal surface for the strips to be able to adhere to for the hold to be effective. Although this didn't hold well on the rounded posts of my own 40 year old chain link fence, I am sure it would work on others. It is designed to hold better to metal posts, the larger the size of the metal post being adhered to. It is my experience, however, with wooden posts that I will give someone else time to assess the magnetic strips' ability to hold metal posts. I'm sure there are better post level tools out there. However, for my purposes, especially for the smaller DIY projects that I do, especially wood posts, I would recommend this post level from the perspective of price and performance.
I like it for 4x4 fence posts, but there is no rubber band that is long lasting. A small bungee cord was substituted for it.
The purpose of this purchase was to install steel 2 Fence on my property is made up of 3/8" round posts. A square post has a larger surface area than a round post, and therefore, the magnets are unable to hold onto the post. Even though its weight is so light, it is able to slide down the post. I am disappointed, since that was the main reason I chose this one over others I could have bought locally instead of waiting. I used the rubber band to hold it in place, but how long will it last? And where do I find replacement rubber bands in this size where I don't have purchase a bag of 100 replacement rubber bands? The magnets on the one I would prefer are stronger, so I'd prefer to pay a few dollars more. It is a typical Irwin tool, but other than that it is of good quality.
Upon arrival, liquid was leaking out of a bubble at one level. A new one was sent to me after I threw away the old one. My first experience with a second one was decent, but when the second one arrived, it had the same problem as the first one, and now there is no way to claim a refund or replacement unless I return the defective Despite living in a rural county, I cannot access a UPS drop close by. To have them make a special stop, you will need to pay more than the level. As much as I hate to admit, I'm taking the lesson to heart and will move on.
Our privacy fence was swept to the ground after Hurricane Harvey devastated the state. I wish I had found this when we commenced building our fence, but I guess you'll be glad you found it after we had built over half of it. In this way, we have been able to complete our project quicker, and we have ordered several more. I found this product to be well worth the small price it costs to purchase as it saves me a lot of time and effort when building a wood fence or doing anything with wood posts.
There was an issue with one of the spirit levels of the one I received. Because of this, my posts now tend to be It has been returned to me. Putting my posts up too soon would have been a mistake.
Bungie is a great thing to own. My 6x6 mast was set up in no time! Hands free, has two readings at once, and was super easy to use. I'd recommend it for all projects to be honest. The rubber band they sent with it was small and did not work well. You can get a cheap bungie cord from the dollar store with two hooks. Makes for a very easy on and off, and can handle most any size board.
Overall a great addition to any toolbox, and must be included in any level collection, big or small.
