How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

A laser level tool projects a red continuous horizontal line that extends all around the room, up to 65' in laser distance, making it ideal for installing chair rail molding, wall paper, windows, and drapery rods, among other things. Additionally to the 3600 level line, it can project plumb cross lines in order to guide an array of DIY projects accurately.
Automatic self-leveling Our laser level automatically levels without the need for manual adjustment.
Charging is a breeze The integrated rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery features a convenient micro-USB charging port and a power indicator that lets you know how long the battery will last.
Included tripod The tripod is adjustable and raises the tool up to 312 feet maximum height. This allows it to be placed securely on a table or floor.
You can project lines at any angle When the lines of your project are not straight or even, like in a diagonally tiled backsplash, the tool has a locking mode that you can use to position your projected lines at any angle you want.

Questions & Answers

How well would this work in the ?

The tool is intended for interior projects only, despite the fact that it works fantastic

Dear all, hello. Does the tripod come with it? Is there an upper limit to the height of the tripod?

Mariano C., it's great to meet you. A tripod is required if you include it. There is a height limit of 43 inches for the tripod. You're welcome! Thank you so much for your question.

Could you tell me if this product is good for aligning/setting tiles?

A map for aligning, checking, or setting tiles would be useful. There are three kinds of lines that can be projected especially if you want to completely align two or more walls. 2) A horizontal and vertical line at the same time only vertical 3). Let's only work horizontally. This tool was used to align sound deadening panels for a 40'x66' room to cover all four walls with panels. The alignment of the tile is correct. We discovered that the floor is 1/4" lower on one side of the room. A tape measure would show that we were 1/4" off what was true level if we'd measured from the floor up. There is obviously no problem here. Still, it is a pity. As of now, it is "perfect" in terms of The product is great. I would definitely purchase it

Is it possible for the laser to ?

Hey, Alonzo! I noticed that the laser on this model didn't Your inquiry is appreciated.

You do get what you pay for with this service, but it's only average
3/5

The settings and features are spread out over several settings, so I've broken them down into separate sections. This 360 degree laser level has the following features When used with the unlocked laser setting, it works flawlessly at a set height, on a solid object (tripod to point listed below), and on a tripod to a solid object. Even at a distance of 20 feet, move slowly to minimize the bouncing line. There is a high degree of accuracy. The horizon is five degrees wide, so distances up to ten feet should not be visible unless you are actively It seems that the centerline is accurate as a perpendicular line, however, it does range from +/-25 degrees to the right There is a slight deviation of 1 degree from level and this is visible from a A laser whose position is locked Though it seems nice to lock the position of the laser to any defined point, this is a bit of a hassle since it actually moves the laser, so you have to readjust your levels. Some of those applications can be useful, but I do not find them very useful at this time. A 360 degree scan in combination with a center line this is as accurate as each one on its own and is probably the most useful factor in that you can use it to pinpoint nail points, studs, and many other things as well. I found it useful for hanging pictures and lights, which gave me a clean center line. The item will be thrown away at the end of the day. Due to its thin plastic and lack of weight, it is able to easily be moved by slight breezes. I found it less than useful and less than optimal in height in general. At its maximum height, such a machine would bounce with a slight movement or even a slight breeze when fitted with a laser. I recommend getting a tripod for your camera and using it. In a nutshell The charge time from dead was about 3 hours. The indicator light is bright and easy to read, though if you are charging at night you may find it too bright. Using the product for the first time took about 5 hours to fully discharge the battery, depending on the settings used. It took about 3 hours for the second charge after being left on for over 3 hours without turning off the 360 combo. *As a whole The lines it projects are not necessarily perfectly level, so don't just take them at face value. If you mount things with a level prior to moving the level, then you should do the necessary before moving it. Could be a useful tool to have in a tool kit at home, but would not recommend using it professionally. The level is a decent deal for the price, but it isn't as good as some other levels that are two to three times more expensive.

This is a good tool for hanging pictures although there is a tendency for a double line to appear on one side when projecting around an entire room, which makes it difficult for the user to know which line to use
4/5

There is also a tripod that comes with the camera that is almost In order to hang photos, a horizontal center line needs to be at least six inches out from the wall. For this photo, I simply used my own It can sometimes be a challenge to really adjust the alignment on an existing object or a mark on the wall as it can be challenging to dial it in.

The stand is defective
4/5

I purchased this unit and discovered that the stand did not secure the mounting plate to hold the laser level in any position without flopping over to the ground with the laser level pointing at the ground. The defect was locking knob number three, which will not secure the mounting plate. As a result of a return to 360 degree lasers and stands, I received a new stand. On the newly received unit, the stand was also defective in the In this case, I assume this defective is a design defect present in every base that is included As an alternative, I will try adding more washers to the 3 screw at the locking knob to see if that will hold the mounting plate in the position I want it to be. To view the names of the parts I used, please refer to the diagram that comes with the unit.

There are a number of design limitations
3/5

If you're planning on being outside during the day, avoid it before sunrise or after sunset. The pros are This is 1. It provides a great deal of value when compared to models of other manufacturers. The second paragraph. Lithium-ion batteries built into the interior of the device. The phone adapter uses 5 volts to charge. 1. 2. 3. The form factor is small, sturdy, and comes with bumpers on the corners. Ibid. , p. 4. It is impressive to self level a floor in six seconds.
5. A hard copy of O&G Useful information can be found in M manual. The sixth point. It is easy to understand the It features a lock switch, laser PB, LEDs showing the charge status, and tilt error LEDs. The cons are This is 1. IMPORTANT Cannot be used outside during daylight hours. In addition, the laser output is too low for visual detection, and it lacks a receiver as well. A limitation such as this is not mentioned in Amazon's description. The second paragraph. There was a large difference between observing and specifying beam spread for 360 degrees. It is not clear how far 65' can go. 1. 2. 3. As long as the unit is not firmly fixed to two stands (no tripod), or is otherwise forcefully resisted downward, a leveled status is lost when the unit is switched from unlocked (after self-leveling) to locked. If an electrically- operated remote controlled device can be used, this severe design limitation can be overcome In place of a manual slide lock, switched plumb locks are used. Ibid. , p. 4. Despite its poor quality, the tripod is susceptible to floor vibrations, drafts, and PB switch and knob movement, which cause multiple self-activation events to have occurred during tests. There are several ways to level a building. In the future, it will be possible to avoid some of these duplicate sequences by electrically locking the device after initial self-leveling. It is difficult to make fine adjustments on a tripod with coarse threads. This is 5. An error indicator for vertical 150 is obscured by the laser light.

The level is fantastic, however it is fragile
3/5

The first time I dropped it (and my tripod fell over), the horizontal laser broke off. What I don't know is whether I can be lucky or not. It is so fragile that, when taking it apart to see if it can be salvaged, it was hard to find any connections that might survive. There is a copper wire attached to one of the boards that is very thin Because of this, disassembly becomes tricky, since if your wires snap, you have to solder them back on manually, and the wires on these aren't thick enough for tweezers to handle. The laser part is pretty much completely broken, which is a shame since it worked so well. I don't think I can fix it myself. While doing my garage work in the morning, I had trouble seeing the lines across the garage because of all the ambient lighting. I probably will repurchase the green one for a slightly brighter one. If there is any light at all, I would be shocked if I could get 65 feet from the laser. Despite some issues with the product, laser levels are definitely worth the money. Just disappointed that this one cracked.

There was a problem with the leveling of the line! Not sure if this was due to user error or what, but I still couldn't get this thing to The only thing he told me was to return it! I even asked my dad to look at it
3/5

While it looks great and is easy to set up, it doesn't work Instead of making my job easier, it made it harder!.
