Questions & Answers

The newer version costs $199, so what is the difference between this one and that one? The title is the same, but BNA is not present?

In exchange for $199, the GPL grants you While the $168 GPL-5 has a hard case and the words Professional on the cover, the $55 has the words Professional on the cover. In a soft case, the 5 is housed. It is both licensed under the GNU General Public Licence Five lasers that emit the same light and have the same The retail price for these is $380. Use of LR-series laser detectors - such as the LR-103 To use a laser in bright daylight, you need a laser with pulses like the GLL2

In the product video, it is stated that this is meant The laser seems to be visible in daylight in one of the photos. Does it work on cloudy days, as well?

My EV charger can be used in the shade, but cannot be used in direct sunlight. I usually charge it outside. There is some benefit to wearing red glasses. This is a fantastic tool that once you have used it, you will never want to go

Why do you operate the way you do?

Levels for horizontal levels are as follows The unit can be placed on almost any (more or less flat, whether this is level or not) surface, turned on, and the laser marks will be seen. A vertical version of this is There is only one condition you must place it on a flat surface, and its bottom point must be exactly aligned with its top point. A successful outcome

When doing the 180 degree test at 12 feet, how accurate is it really? (Set the plumb dot on the floor and ceiling, turn the laser 180 degrees on the same point, and see the ?

My experience says it is dead-on at 12 feet, and I've also used it on a 60 foot platform without any problems. Three is better than two If you don't square it, how else will you do After you have done this, measure corner to corner to determine if it is true. This is an excellent value for money. Here's what I have to say.

I was disappointed with the advertising of this product as it was a little In the GPL, the "P" stands for the "Point"= I simply don't understand why they won't tell you this
4/5

GLL is of course a LINE so you will get lines because the "L" in the acronym means "Line". Take the time to do It's a video I posted on YouTube. After they received the product (after it had been shipped), they learned that it did not do laser lines as their video would lead you to believe. In order to do that, I had to rewrite The LL = laser line is now available! Please let me know if that helps).

This is a simple tool that saves time
4/5

My best price was on the internet at the time of my purchase. The product is in accordance with its manufacturer's specifications. The site is easy to navigate and saves time. Ideally, I would like for the case to be less "grippy" to reduce the amount of sawdust it attracts. It's not necessary, but it can be Also, it would be nice if the laser point had a smaller and less fuzzy point, but it appears to be less than an eighth of an inch in diameter, which is excellent.

For the purpose for which it's designed, this tool is excellent
5/5

I like this tool a lot. This was a bargain I found here on Amazon for less than a hundred dollars. In the past, I have used this model and a version based on PLS on the job. The carpenter became tired of borrowing money from his neighbors. A better day could not come soon enough for me. Even though I don't think this is the ideal tool for extremely long distance or outdoor situations, it is small enough that I always keep it in my bag and find myself using it all the time. Many times I use it instead of trying to transfer points with one or more levels. Many times I just hang my work on a wall while working in a room and leave it there until I'm finished. In terms of plumb, I no longer use a plumb bob. Compared to the idea of getting two people to do the job, this is so much faster and takes only one person instead of two,

Overall, for what it is and what it costs, I am very.

The laser is good, simple, and efficient
5/5

My desire for a small laser for around the house came after years in construction. The five points are helpful for most projects despite the fact that it isn't a rotating laser. While working at my previous job, I used an app similar to this one. At home, I have used mine to build soffits and level cabinets. It is of good Do not drop it, just don't be a dummy.

GPL5 5-Positive Bosch A laser for alignment of points
5/5

yet another excellent Bosch product!
Many people would appreciate having this at hand without having to spend a lot of money! The device comes with both a magnetic base and a soft canvas case. In addition to being able to attach it to a tripod, you can also use it to take photos. In other words, this laser projects a SPOT and not a line in different directions. This is something that you should keep in mind. There is no doubt that I recommend this product.

It's a great tool, but it doesn't have a A friend of mine gave me this tool and I immediately saw how useful it is
3/5

Ideal for midday use. Bright enough to use during the day. It was disappointing to not receive a plastic case with this. There is a picture of it and it is listed as part of the package. As it is not designed to fit in the soft sleeve that holds the laser, small parts (target, hex key) will definitely be lost or broken.

I also have good success in locating square, plumb, and perpendicular lines using this. In the construction industry, it's a necessity. The product is versatile, durable, and simple.
