Marking center vertically and horizontally is easy with this product, as it is well made and accurate. The claim that "Projected measuring marks cross the horizontal and vertical lines at even intervals and make it easy to execute jobs that require equal spacing" is in fact completely inaccurate. You would have to ensure that this level is not only level on both planes but also perpendicular to the wall -This is done by making sure it is both level and perpendiculars. Moreover, even if you could do these calibrations (I am not convinced you could do these with the clamp provided, but perhaps with a tripod and ball head), you would still need a good old-fashioned level! It takes lots of time to set up a single thing. This does not work in practice, but the fact that the Skil marketing department is using this false claim as a way to market themselves to prospective customers is another thing entirely . The basic horizontal and vertical laser levels of the class are unacceptable.

It is great that the USB rechargeable battery is so handy! Thanks for letting us know Skil! We need to get rid of disposable batteries. I thought the green laser was more visible than the red one. In contrast, if you're planning to use the marker to mark anything beyond the center vertical and horizontal, you might want to consider the more basic models from Skil. The green laser has far better visibility in bright light than the blue laser.
