It appears that the lamps in the picture are yellow, but they are actually white. The lighting is definitely cooler than what I had expected from the pictures. I love this night light! You can also dim it, making it even better! It's dusk to dawn and automatically lights up a dark room. I was able to provide my 8 year old son with a perfect solution using this app. The old night light did not give off enough light once he shut off his lamp, so he disliked that it had to be turned on and off manually after shutting it off. Not just one corner of his room was illuminated by this night light, but the whole Leaving on his lamp at night does not help him to fall asleep as it is still a warm glow. I put the other light in the bathroom since these lights came in a 2 pack. If you put the light on the brightest setting, the entirety of the room will be illuminated. There is so much light that you don't need to turn on the big bathroom lights when you get up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.

It is questionable whether or not the plugs are safe. I had trouble getting it to stay in my wall outlet, I have newer outlets and there are no 2nd outlets for this nightlight, so don't even think about using it in the second outlet. Because of the way it's designed and made, you can't stuff something like a phone charger that's bigger in it as well. I am disappointed. Although I'll keep them just because it's too difficult to return, I would not recommend or buy them Don't limit yourself to just one option.

The dimmable feature is something I like about these night lights. As far as the light sensor is concerned, it is quite sensitive. If they had a more yellow tint to them than they do, that would be great. Despite being white lights, they perform their mission.

It's pretty cool to see these night lights. Having an easily accessible switch on the front of the unit means they can dim or adjust the brightness of the light as needed. As far as the LED sensor is concerned, it requires a sufficient amount of light just to turn the light off during the day. The unit cannot turn off if there is minimal sunlight coming in through the curtain or if the unit is plugged in an outlet away from the light. If the unit is in an outlet away from the light, it will also not turn off and will stay on all day to prevent this from happening.
