There is one on either end of our ranch-style home so that we have plenty of light at night to navigate without turning on the lights. Despite their low brightness, these have the appearance of more expensive night lights, which become brighter as the darkness deepens. There is nothing to complain about. This product was one of my best Amazon purchases. My one and a half year old does not notice extra stuff to pull out in the wall and they do not fall out of the wall (I had no issues with them in my US outlet) but they are probably one of my most popular Amazon finds. The sides and top of the box are taped off with black electrical tape and even though it is not the best-looking solution, it still reduces the amount of light. I would like to share my update with you In a timely manner, the seller contacted me to discuss swapping the light I had ordered for the more "yellow" ones they offer. Our kids have been able to do a lot with them, so I turned him down for one reason. The minute our daughter saw that I had done it, she insisted it was ugly, without argument from me, and immediately went to my tool chest and got out the rolls of colored electrical tape and an exacto knife. She was able to make three night lights rapidly with a knife. In the end, she turned the lampshades into colorful, low intensity We have seen slightly more interesting results using model paint to color them, but the consistency is less consistent. My daughter made these three in 20 minutes and I've included pictures. In order to make room for next year's Christmas lights, I'm omitting the picture of what I had done. Our daughter used it for red/green/yellow lights.

The wax tape comes in a wide variety of colors and patterns, but because the tape is diffused it is impossible to discern patterns. The Washi tape also has a low tack, so I can change the color of tape without converting the lights to a goopy As far as I am concerned, I covered only the light in my bedroom, and I chose red tape as red stands for love There is less strain on the eyes when using tinted lights. decide to do this also, be sure to take time to cover the sides of the light, too, since they also emit light. I am not the typical blue-eyed girl The lights are white-ish, but not blindingly bright. They illuminate the hallway without being overpowering. Also, I like how small they are, and it's smart to not only offset the prongs, but make them the same size as well. The same outlet can be used for other things as well. The purchase of more products is definitely in the pipeline. Then I would be happy, knowing they will last me a whole year. If they fail to do so, I will update my review. From traditional night lights to leaving a hallway light on, to giving him a flashlight, we've tried it all. He was unable to sleep in his bed throughout the night when he was on any of these calm down methods. My curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to give them a shot. It was the best thing I could have done. I am in awe of this I keep his room well-lit so that he stays comfortable and aware of his surroundings without causing him any sleep disturbance. They come with all of the features that you want from a nightlight, as noted in other reviews The brightness is nice and bright without blinding you in the middle of the night when you wake up. They will turn on and off automatically, don't block the second outlet, and don't block the second outlet. My only disappointment is that one of them has died on me (it has only been 4 months since I bought it).
