Whenever I take out the trash, I am in the dark because of the direction of the street. Therefore, I bought a flat bar and an angle bar to install this on my side yard. It helps that the lighting is dim so my side yard isn't totally dark, and as soon as I open my side door, all of the lights come on. There is no way for me to predict whether I will continue to enjoy it, but hopefully, it will last.

Very bright when blown full blast. They have only been used a couple of days, but so far they have worked fine. Their size was different from what I expected although they do provide enough light to do what I need when there is movement. My driveway is super dark at night due to a lack of street lights in our area, so I bought these lights to illuminate it. For this reason, I run them in dim mode to keep them visible during the night so I can try to prevent any nefarious activity. The light appeared to stay bright for no more than 30 seconds after motion is detected, but when I was taking pictures in the cold that seemed short to me. They didn't seem to last much longer than 10 minutes, but I'll time them next time I get a chance During this time, the light should be on for 15 seconds.
They still worked in the morning before the sun broke through the horizon, which gave them enough power to use in dim light well into the night. I really like the way they blend in with the scenery. Because I positioned the gutters straight onto my roof, I used my own screws to hold them in place. My goal was to find a light that didn't require wiring- For me to take my dog out at night, I go up the path in my backyard. As far as luminosity level is concerned, it was sufficient for my purposes, and I was pleased that the light detected motion and gradually brightened upon it.

With a simple Black & Decker installation, installation was a snap My DeWalt cordless drill was used to drill pilot holes in my cedar pergola so that the included screws could be installed. My pergola is made up of plywood, so I followed my template to mark where the screw holes should be, taped that to the plywood and then drilled It was a breeze to install the lights since the screws lined up perfectly. Though we would have appreciated if the manufacturer included templates for us, making our own isn't difficult. The lights were off for two days and I ensured that the lights got a full charge by not turning them on for two days. It's great to live in a sunny beach town in California with beautiful weather. As far as I know, my lights have not been blocked by any tall trees or buildings that could hinder their ability to charge and we have not had any bad weather. For the first two days, my lights were beautiful. The lights dimly lit the pathways through the night, and they brightened up if I passed by (I took my dog out at two am to give you a sense of how long they were However, I noticed after the third night that my lights were not on at the beginning of Although, I do not know how long these lights should remain on throughout the night, I find it ridiculous that they won't stay on at least two hours After 3 hours of darkness. The lights flashed brightly to indicate they were in off mode when I hit the on/off switch to make sure they weren't accidentally turned off. After hitting it again to turn it back on, it dimmed for a few seconds before fading to black once more. Even on the best days with tons of sunshine, these lights are still unreliable. My brief experience with these lights does not justify the high ratings this item has received. I don't know if I received a faulty set, but given my poor experience, I am not sure why this item has so many positive The fact that I received all four of the lights to malfunction makes me doubt these lights are good or not. I may be inclined to believe I received a defective light, but the fact that all four failed makes me doubt they are good. These lights have failed to serve their purpose and have stopped lighting up the night because I carry a flashlight with me. I'm not sure whether I should get another set and try them again or if I should just return it and get my money back as soon as possible.
