This device is ideal for installing low voltage path lighting
5/5

To automatically turn on my low voltage path lighting at dusk and turn it off at dawn, I purchased this photocell for my low voltage transformer. (I had a transformer from Rejuvenation, but it looks like Plugging the photocell into a receptacle inside the transformer, it was installed into a knockout on the transformer box. I did not have to connect any wire nuts to the terminals. The transformer's timer was set to run all day - I then plugged in the battery. Therefore, the photocell is able to turn on the lights when it's.

The photocell is well designed for use with low-light units and deserves its price
5/5

A cap is included to cover the cell if you want to turn on the lights before dark, and every piece of hardware was included for the installation on the transformer. My 75-year old husband and I found it to be a perfect addition to our collection The Miksolutions low voltage transformer I also purchased is a watt. It is as simple as removing the knock-off In short, I placed a rubber gasket and a washer over the wire and pushed the wire through the knockout. My next step was to place a washer and nut over the wire, and then hold the photocell immobile at the angle I wanted it to face. An old fashion medium flat screwdriver and needle nose pliers were enough to perform the job. It would have been possible to use regular pliers however they would not have worked nearly This purchase was also made great owing to the quality of the service given by The staff was fast to reply to my messages with answers to my questions as I constructed a package of lights and transformer for an outdoor fountain, even during the time when the shop was * * * * I recommend this photocell and would have confidence in any product.

The price of this photocell is a little high

It would also be possible to make a 3rd part photocell, you just need to be a 3-part photocell You will have to wire the plug to a molex connector. As for the photocell, it is capable of doing the job on its own. In order to avoid facing the sun directly, I have it pointed towards a wall. My preferred route would have been to point it down, but the latch for the transformer door would have been compromised. I like the transition effect of the lights being on before you can see them, as this means they're not on yet.

I like this one! My previous transformer was a Hadco 300 watt one, and I bought the photocell to go with it which is really expensive- There was a problem with the My contact with Hadco resulted in an adapter being sent to me
5/5

I could not connect the connector to the photocell. After trying a number of photocells on Amazon, I gave up and bought a cheaper one on Amazon. In spite of having a suitable connector (male to female), the device did not work. This is an inexpensive photocell that I bought as a last resort. Connection was flawless, and it began working right away. Through a timer, I now turn on all my lights at dusk and turn them off at dawn. If you have any kind of landscape light transformer, it is highly recommended that you try this photocell.

I use it with my Lightkiwi transformer to great effect
5/5

A photocell like this is perfect if you have a low voltage transformer that sits outside and you want it to automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn when the sunlight levels out. The switch is sensitive to light, so if you point it in a shady area, it may turn on a little sooner.

This is an easy-to-install product
5/5

The installation was very simple. Attach the Kiwi transformer to the outside using the punch out located on its side. The wires can be connected by plugging them The cap is removable if you wish to use a timer or if you wish to use the bypass that came with the Kiwi transformer instead. As expected, it works.
