With normal use, it is now stuck in the 9s after having driven LEDs for a couple of months. I can't increase or decrease the voltage with the knob of 8V. Since it does not supply a high enough voltage, my 12V LEDs are flickering now, so for me, it's basically trash. There are many other reviews that state that it does not get to 12V, so if that is important to you, do not get it.
It was my hope that this unit would meet my expectations. Only 11 of these are available at a time. With the volume turned up to the maximum, it produces 4 volts. My application cannot be completed with this information. Having returned home.
It's amazing how awesome this is. Is easy to use. This allows you to adjust your voltage by one up or down to adjust the filter to what ever you want.
In response to your question, the product did not work out of the box. It would make approximately The potentiometer on the side won't enable it to go over 12 volts even with 5 volts and turned up. If it had to cope with a load of 20 amps, it would drop to 6 volts.
