I only encountered a minor problem with the installation (and I know you are aware of it) which was that you must be very careful when setting the slide switch that determines whether the transformer provides power to the landscape lights at dusk or not. Depending on when you turn it on, it can give you a signal at dawn or for 4, 6 or 8 hours. The switch is tiny, poorly marked and the positions are counter intuitive. To the left the time is 8 hours, to the right it is 6 hours, then 4 hours, and to the far right 3. 5 hours The "dusk-" symbol is on the right As dawn dawns.
I had a great experience dealing with Dewenwils, a new company for me dealing in low voltage exterior lighting and accessories. This was my first time dealing with them and I was very happy with my first In the midst of a bump in the road, Dewenwils’ Customer Service stepped in and has been a true pleasure to work with in this age Customer service was really good. There was no awful Main Menu followed by sub-menus. Jennifer, who was the first employee, was truly devoted to the business and trying to provide the best customer It's a pleasure to work with "Jennifer" at their Customer Service. She seemed like an experienced employee even though I don't know if she's one of many Customer Service representatives or not. She spoke and delivered like she may be the owner or at least a seasoned employee. From the very beginning to the very end, this company and its employee (Jennifer) made me a customer who will trust and return often, and refer others to a company that still provides outstanding service to its customers. We would like to thank you for your great Customer Service and a good working product once again. Thank you very much, Roy from Annapolis, Maryland.
In my previous review, I left a rather harsh review for my original unit, which had stopped working after two months. It was a pleasant surprise to find that the Supplier reached out to me, sent another unit the next day, and provided a pre-paid label for returning the old one so they could investigate I felt good about doing business with a supplier who takes pride in their product and customer service. We give the product 4 stars only because of the inconvenience of the first unit going down, but 5 stars for the customer service.
So far, it seems to be worth the price. It can only be determined over time. There are several things that are crap, including the terminals they use My timer is crap and I removed the screw clamps and crimped the wires to female terminals and attached them to the male tabs.
Having received the power supply ahead of schedule, I am happy with it. In the evening, I light up one LED spotlight to light up my American flag using this power supply. It would be nice to see a switch on the supply that turns it on and off. As a result, I rated this supply four stars instead of five because the old power supply lasted only about two years and both were made by the same manufacturer. If the power supply is run with no load connected, the output is approximately 3 volts AC. If it is connected to a load, however, it is approximately The AC power source needs to be 5 volts. I hope this can be of help to someone.
Despite giving it 5 stars, I think there is one small issue that can be improved, and that is the connections between the wires. There is a possibility to make them a bit heavier duty and in such a way that a more steady electrical connection can be made. have purchased three of these and they are all having the same problem. Apart from that, it seems to be a good unit!.
There is one small drawback, which is that it might be nice to have a longer cable. So far everything seems to be going well.
