These are the third variety of solar PIR activated lights I've purchased and installed, and they're comparable to the others in terms of performance. br>br>Because of the raised 'nipples' around the rear case closure screws, the supplied 3M branded double-sided tape is not recommended. The tabs on the double-sided adhesive mounting tape aren't quite thick enough to apply the necessary activation pressure. I'm hoping they work as well as my other two types and last as long as they did. When set to only light upon PIR activation, they work fine even when mounted in a very shady area. br>br>Mounting options include two screws with matching hole expansion plastic slugs, and the previously mentioned 3M tape of questionable thickness. Magnets were embedded in the four corners on the back of some of the others I have here. This option is useful for some temporary, easily movable applications that aren't available in this version. br>br>In some situations, having some of the LED lights pointed downwards but to the sides is beneficial. br>br>Other comparable quality ones I have lasted about four years - so long that the UV light caused the cheap plastic window over the solar array to become foggy, reducing charging capability dramatically, until I re-installed it If these perform as well as the ones I polished with tooth paste, they'll be the best value price/unit I've found. br>br>The included manual is printed in a font large enough to read without using a magnifier, and the instructions are clear and simple to follow, with no obvious examples of 'chinglish'. I purchased two packs and am happy with the results. They have a lot of energy and just get the job done. I had one light that wasn't working, but with just a quick email, the customer had it fixed. I'm going to get a third set. br>br> br>br>I use the plain motion sensor option on the side of my house, but I use the dim to bright option on my fence. It works well for letting me know where the dog is at night when I let her out. It's also bright enough that moving the trash can at night is simple. br>br>Despite the fact that we had a severe rainstorm for three days in a row, they all appear to be in good shape. br>br>8 is a great value for the money.

The asthetics of our backyard have been greatly improved by these lights. The dim setting provides ample light for maneuvering around the backyard. Then there's the motion detection, which is extremely quick. It turns on the lights very brightly, which is exactly what we needed in our dark backyard, and it's well worth the money we paid for it.

I've bought and installed five sets in my yard, with two more on the way. Very simple to set up, the motion detection is excellent, and the three brightness functions cover a wide range of functions. I've had a couple of them that didn't work right out of the box, but the customer service was excellent. They're swapping them out for me and throwing in a few extras to compensate for the inconvenience. Response time was very quick, and the replacements were shipped out quickly. All of the other lights are in good working order and make a nice addition to my yard and house. This book comes highly recommended.

The price is excellent, and the lights are extremely bright. These were the cheapest smaller lights with a high LED density and three modes of operation. I used them as walkway lights along our front walkway by mounting them on steel garden fence post segments. On installation, one would not be lit up. It was opened and the 18650 lithium-ion battery was inserted. I put the lithium-ion battery inside on a battery charger and it came to life; I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Purchased the first time - 9/27/2021br>br>These have been running smoothly for about a month now. They're set to always on and stay on all night for me. Some are even in a less-than-ideal sun position, with shade for part of the day, and they are unaffected. I know it's still early, and many reviews say they'll be out in a few months, but I figured I'd share the first impressions. If they start going out in the next year or two, I'll revisit this. I anticipate these working flawlessly for at least two years. We'll have to wait and see. br>br>EDIT 1/13/2022br>br>br>As of today, all eight LEDs I purchased four months ago have completely stopped working. When the sun sets, they will not turn on for an hour. It was only three that stopped a month ago, but now they're all gone, and I live in Southern California, so most of them get plenty of sun. br>br>This isn't very good. br>br>What's the point of having solar-powered LEDs if they don't charge at all? I don't expect them to work through the night or on cloudy days, but once the sun shines again, the batteries should recharge. They do not appear to be charging any longer.

I finally got a response from the manufacturer, and they offered some helpful advice. They expressed regret for their tardiness in responding. They also replaced any lights that had gone out. br>br>DO NOT PURCHASE. DO NOT BUY, I SAY AGAIN. I bought 16, and two of them broke down after only two months. Others are likely to follow suit in the near future. Service is the real issue I'm having, and the information in the q a area states 100% satisfaction and that they will contact you in 24 hours. I sent one email then waited 48 hours and sent second email. It's been three days since I've heard anything. If they don't respond, you won't be able to get any satisfaction.
