Wyze Spotlight for Wyze Cam v3

In general, I am really pleased with Wyze products and wish Wyze every success. Yet occasionally, they seem to release good products prematurely, and that may have been the case here. I just don't think the light will be bright enough to make a difference in image quality or to be useful to me. In addition, I've noticed that the light stays on for just a few seconds before continually turning OFF, regardless of what I do. In order to improve their Spotlight, Wyze should release a software update or a hardware upgrade as soon as possible. It could be extremely beneficial if it works properly. In the future, I will update this review if I find a better way to make Spotlight work.

Wyze Cam v3 is my forth purchase in the last two months and I cannot say enough good things about it.

First - My v3 is a 5 megapixel camcorder that you can easily add to your existing camcorder. Cost Before the v3, I would have had to budget about $750 to get the same peace of mind for less than $200 (and yes, it is that much because I chose to add the spotlight kit at the same time). I got a Cam Plus subscription for the front and back doors, and it is awesome. The cameras were very easy to install and set up, the app worked perfectly, and the subscription was easy to use. There was something like $1 in it. A monthly fee of $50 per camera is charged. Each of my notifications gets through, and I have tested them about a hundred times already. Moreover, it continuously records with a microSD card with a capacity of 32GB. I was getting about 4 days of recoding from it. Finally, I would like to say this Here's what quality looks like There's nothing better than cute little things like these, but that's enough. It's amazing how powerful they are for something so cheap. When the sun is up, the image is stunning, but when the sun goes down, it is terrible. Oh my gosh! Compared to some of the big names that cost four times as much, this is a great deal. Being able to use it both indoors and outside is just the cherry on top. While I know I have mentioned it before, the app is really easy to use and good. The videos and notifications of our devices are available to both my wife and me. While I tried to come up with a negative comment, I would not be honest with myself. You pick up. Moreover, just to clarify, I am not a Wyze sheep-I got the Wyze Cam Outdoor and have yet to write a positive review on those (but they are a new generation, so I am waiting to see how they work). In general, I would rate the camera 5 out of 5, but I find it absurd to be charged a monthly fee for recording more than 12 seconds to my own memory card. I could totally understand being charged if I was going to use their cloud service for storage, Additionally, if you need to pay a monthly fee to use certain features, you are like buying a car and having to pay a monthly fee for headlights, power windows and seats, etc. My intention is not to buy any more Wyze products, since the company wants you to.

This is a rather unreliable source of information. In some cases, the app reports that it is installed, but it cannot locate it in others. As long as the cable is connected correctly and you are using the original Wyze USB adapter, everything is fine. A flickering effect occurs when the device is installed. My computer freezes if I try to change a setting, then tells me that the light is not installed. The experience has been very aggravating. I am returning it.
